Great value and pleasant surprise!

This hotel had a very cool modern design, friendly service and is just a very short walk to a bustling college-town feel neighborhood with many bars, restaurants and boutiques. The breakfast was impressive with a cook- to-order egg station and a variety of other dishes including fresh fruit and coffee, of course. They even have a plunge pool which we used a couple of times, although it's a bit awkwardly placed next to the lobby -- glass doors so anyone that comes into the lobby can see you. The service was very friendly. The hotel must be new or under new management because it was pretty silly how many people they had on staff at all times. Sometimes there would be 5 workers in the tiny lobby (4 of them seemed to have little to nothing to do) and at breakfast, they would almost trip over themselves to help you or clear your plate -- there must have been one staff member for every dining guest most mornings we were there (we were there for 4 nights). Overall, a wonderful little hotel - very clean, quite unique and in a great neighborhood. If I ever return to Chiang Mai, I would stay there again, and I will recommend it to friends traveling there.

Sleepless in Chaing Mai

Posted Oct 16, 2012
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Party music at 3am. Lack of sleep. And the same food everyday! Hard place to fine for the locals drivers!
Location: Location was nice!
Stayed 16 days at this hotel. We had 2 rooms. Rooms were nice, beds were wonderful. Lots of english TV. My room was very clean no ants, the other room had ants and a geckos. We got lock out of the rooms twice. We were told to move rooms once. Breakfast was included every morning which was very nice but... EVERYDAY was the same( would have been nice to mixed it up) We ended up going out to breakfast to have something different. Staff was very limited on english which made situations very hard to understand. The hotel is still under construction power tools being used at all times in the day ( hard to take a nap) The hotel is located in a great part of town lots of massage places and places to eat but...... lots of bars around playing VERY LOUD MUSIC until 3:00am If you like the THUD THUD THUD THUD all night than this is the place for you. The last day it rained a ton and the roof started to leak water everywhere and they( front desk) did not seem to care. Overall would not stay here again and would not recomend to anyone.

Value for money

The hotel is still under renovation and some floors are not yet ready. I tried the Morroco style room and it is comfortable. It is absolutely value for money.
