gorgeous property, excellent service, extreamly comfortable rooms. only drawback is the location as it is a $9 cab ride to town and the shuttle only goes in once per day. still enjoyed our stay as the property was worth it.

An Exquisite Experience in Thailand
Incredible experience. Exceptional service and hospitality. Large beautiful rooms. Whisper quiet neighborhood (in a country club neighborhood a few miles from the city center). We rode the streets on the hotel's bikes and admired the nearby homes, mountain views and gorgeous trees. Excellent restaurant in the club house (best red curry I've had in Thailand). The hotel packed me lunches for my day excursions. So thoughtful! The spa was delightful; the treatments were wonderful. My last night I sat on the deck and listened to songbirds endlessly singing. It was an experience I'll never forget. The staff felt like family. I'll always be grateful for my time at the Oasis Baan Saen Doi Spa Resort.

Wonderful OASIS like Property!
Beautiful hotel away from Chiang Mai hustle bustle. In a residential community where Laos Diplomat to Thailand has beautiful home. Well maintained appointed rooms, personal breakfast, swimming pool and tennis court down street, complimentary bike available. Club house restaurants is outstanding. Getting to town does require prearrangement.

A tranquil gem!
The Oasis Baan Saen Doi Spa Resort was a tranquil gem, located outside of busy Siem Reap. While it provided a respite away from the city center, the location was the only negative of an otherwise idyllic stay. Many of the activities we signed up with declared it too far for a pick-up, so we had to manage our own transportation (which was easy enough), but the distance did require some additional planning on our end. But, that said, the hotel itself was lovely and the staff, warm and welcoming. While the pool and spa were located in a different area/facility, we enjoyed the delicious custom made breakfasts onsite. For those who want to feel like they are truly "getting away from it all," this is your ideal spot!

Beautiful property. The room set up and decoration are amazing. The crew pays a lot of attention to details to satisfy customers. The SPA is on the the other side of the street, in front of the Oasis Hotel. The SPA facility and quality of the service are perfect. The Oasis Hotel is located 20 minutes drive from downtown. if you are looking for a quiet place a night, this is the right place to rest. The restaurant located in the same gated community than the Oasis is providing high end Thai food. This is the only choice in the vicinity. We rented a scooter in order to manage this isolation issue/advantage. We highly recommend this property.

The staff was wonderful and so nice!! They were very helpful with booking things ans figuring out transportation to places. The hotel was beautiful and very relaxing! It definitely has the feel of peace and tranquility of a spa. You’re a bit away from the city, like 15-20 minutes by taxi, but if you’re looking for a beautiful and relaxing place, this is it!

Quiet and resftul
This luxury resort was amazing. It was far enough from the city to where we felt completely secluded yet close enough to bike around or grab a quick cab into town. The food at the restaurant was OUTSTANDING. Morning breakfast was delicious too!! Loved the rooms. Everything was perfect.

Chiang Mai up Close
I was absolutely thrilled with my stay in Chiang Mai but staying at the resort was the icing on the cake. I was very impressed on how accommodating and friendly the staff was and their desire to give the best service. We were able to take a cab into the city and tour but it was so refreshing to come back to "our Oasis" to unwind. I plan on coming back possibly in November with my daughter

Excellent birthday getaway
The staff are amazing and surprised me with a birthday cake for my 30th and a little gift of spa products when my partner and I went for a massage. It is totally serene and quiet, but also very far from town and local amenities. We borrowed the complimentary bicycles to go to 7-11 and a nearby restaurant but apart from that there’s nothing much around. The hotel does offer a free shuttle service to town at 10am (returning at 6:30pm) but as we went during Songkran Water festival, we came back earlier and had to pay for a tuk tuk. The room was perfect (luxury suite) and breakfast was incredible every day. Love love loved it!

A must stay. Indulgence for a good rate
We stayed for three nights and after staying there, we could not think of a single complaint. Free breakfast was incredible, tennis courts in great condition, spa services we received were top notch and the restaurant nearby had some of the best food of our 2 week trip (if not the best). Would recommend this place to anyone.

Simple Cultural touch and Helpful Staff
We got a deluxe room at second floor for which breakfast was included. The hotel located in a very quiet area about 10 minutes drive from Airport. Hotel provide shuttle service to and from Airport. In addition to they provide transport to city every day at 10.00 am and back to hotel at 6.00 pm which is very helpful. Entire hotel has a cultural touch. Room and bathroom were specious. Shower was very good. I wish there were more space to hang at least two towels separately. Breakfast was very good. They need you to let them know your choice of breakfast by previous evening. Don at kitchen/breakfast-room was very helpful and active. Staff was very friendly and always ready to help. Nattaly at the reception desk makes a personal touch with guests. When she came to know that we were leaving very early for a day trip she voluntarily offered to prepare some sandwiches for us to take away. They provide slippers bathrobes toiletries including body lotion. However, as the slippers were very comfy and already used by us I thought we could take them with us assuming they would not supply the same slippers to another guest. But a room boy came behind us asking back for those used slippers. Staying with them was pleasant and relaxing. They have a separate dinner restaurant which was good but expensive.

Front desk staff were very helpful. Booked our bus ticket online for us (As it was in Thai). Slight negative comment; unable to get an iron in our room. Apparently only option to get housekeeping to press clothes. I only had one pair of trousers to iron. Front desk came to the rescue and got it done free of charge.

A beautiful excellent 10 star accomedation.
I celebrated my birthday there with my husband had lovely massages and great meals at the restaurant. We enjoyed the place immensely. It is set in a gated very upmarket neighberhood with amazing properties around it. The oasis spa hotel is somewhere that I would comeback to enjoy again.

AMAZING
It was absolutely outstanding, the service the food and the place !!!!! it was the best hotel we stayed during our trip to Thailand. We overpaid other hotels in Phuket etc and without a doubt this hotel was the best and the price amazing. I booked a double bed room, they knew we were on our honeymoon and gave us a corner suite and even some chocolates and welcome letter. The staff was the best service I've ever received, very helpful. The food in their restaurant was the bets food we had in Thailand, and we went to many places to eat but the food there was great!!! The place overall is magic, highly recommended to everyone!!!

Resort was traditional Thai style. It is within a Chiang Mai and inside an upscale neighborhood. The magic of the resort was lost a little because it was not isolated from day to day life of a suburb. Breakfast was quite nice. The beds were a little too hard.

Yep- amazing stay- highly recommend!
Not easily pleased but, this place was amazing! I can't think of anything that wouldn't make me want to come back- the other reviews of how great this place is are correct. Stay as it was wonderful!! There is only one restaurant in the location, and so on a Friday or Saturday you need to book if you want to have an evening meal. Erm....yep, that's the only thing we can think of that was of a slight inconvenience.... Oh they have hard mattresses....but they're good for your back so I suppose that's another bonus. The staff are lovely, great welcome and they have put to shame other hotels. This place is wonderful!

Secluded Boutique Escape
This hotel was lovely and charming with WONDERFUL staff. I think this may be the best service I've ever gotten. So, thoughtful and accommodating of your every need. The rooms were wonderful! Very beautiful teak wood. The beds were pretty hard, so I recommend asking for more pillows if that isn't what you like. I highly recommend the breakfast. The food was very good with nice selection. If you are a westerner, they had choices that let you eat some favorites from home. Thai food is great, but we needed a break sometimes. On our first trip to Chiang Mai/Thailand, I wasn't sure we wanted to stay in the city. So, I booked this property to get away from the bustle. It is away from things. Looking back, I wish I would have done a downtown hotel so that it would have been easier to engage with city activities. However, this is no reflection on the property at all. We did get a spa service, which was nice but VERY expensive for Thailand. There are many places that we could have gotten the same service for far far less.

Very nice spa/hotel, spacious and comfortable rooms. All the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The massage at the hotel was excellent (though a bit pricey). Can't fault the breakfast - good selection and cook to order. Would recommend having a rented car/motorcycle if you're staying here as it is a bit far from Chiang Mai town centre (20 min drive). But they also have a shuttle though only once a day Perhaps the only minor gripe is the mattress - which is too soft for our liking

The staff were very friendly and helpful (although we did check it late and night and felt a bit lost finding the restaurant and breakfast location). We highly recommend the restaurant for value and quality and the breakfast was amazing (the banana pancakes in particular). The resort has generous proportions and is of a high quality, although it is showing it's age in places. There was a notice by the pool that said they were about to close for renovations. It is an easy ride on their free loan bike to the garden and zoo and they also offer a free transfer service by car. We highly recommend staying here.

Unsurpassed staff and facilities, spa and great restaurant in complex. Night life it is not, luxury and comfort for a quite base to relax and enjoy it is simply magnificent.
