Old but nice hotel close to everything!

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: Location,location
Cons: Updating
Location: Near night market, laundry around the corner. You can book a day tour at the lobby.
Near night market, row of Thai massage places infront of the hotel. In house restaurants are nice but a little expensive compare outside restaurants. Swimming is nice as well. There's a cafe in the corner of the street and pretty good: inexpensive and cozy & laundry so cheap, 30baht/ kilo.

Clean hotel close to night bazzar - value for mone

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Good hotel for a resonable prices within walking distance to markets restaurants pubs etc..
Cons: Gym seems to be a bit neglected. One item was not working at all the entire 7 days we were there. But this was a major issue.
Location: Anusarn Market, Night Bazzar and good tasty eating places nearby.
A hotel with all the facilities I needed at a very reasonable price. This was our second visit to this hotel.Clean hotel with a good variety buffet breakfast. Close to shopping areas and the night bazzar. all the tours and activities can be arranged at the hotel tours desk.Taxi fares to other shopping centers is not high.Very tasty food can be had at night within walking distance LEMON GRASS RESTAURANT and the eating places at the ANUSARN NIGHT MARKET.

Great Value in Chiang Mai

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: The location is fantastic if you want to shop at the Night Market and have access to a lot of the tourist shopping spots.
Cons: To be frank, the hotel shows its age a bit, but you should not be discouraged or dissuaded by this. It is still solid.
Location: Night Market, Bars, Restaurants, Shopping.
I spent one night here in August 2014, but have stayed here several times before over the past three years. It was low season, but still pretty busy. The hotel is very nice--not top-of-the-line 5 star, but good for singles, families, etc. The staff is good, the buffet breakfast is solid. I have stayed in over ten hotels in Chiang Mai, and for the money and convenience, this is right at the top. That said, if you expect Australian or European top-notch facilities, this will not meet that standard. But if you want to get a good value for your money in a very nice place in a great location, then consider staying here.

Great Hotel and Staff

Posted Aug 2, 2014
Pros: Great facilities and staff.
Cons: The bathrooms need to be renovated as they are showing their age (mildew and cracked grout).
Location: Centrally located within a few blocks of the night bazaars. Easy tuk-tuk ride to the shopping centres.
This hotel is centrally located and has excellent facilities, including a smaller pool on Level 2 (which we used to get away from the noisy children). Breakfast was included in our room rate and excellent. Easy walk to all the night bazaars and bars.

Great place to stay.

Posted Jul 21, 2014
This hotel was central and very close to the night bazaar. The pool is big and very relaxing with comfortable lounges also comes with a great pool attendant. The resturaurant and breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced. The rooms are comfortable but are a bit tired, the beds and linen are of good quality. We had connecting rooms with a trundle bed in a twin room. Overall we had an enjoyable stay.

Great value, a bit dated

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Friendly and helpful staff, good location, great value Quite dated, particularly bathrooms, but that did not matter much to us Despite being mostly empty, the restaurant that opens up to the lobby (where breakfast is served) actually serves pretty good food
