Nice ResortPosted May 2, 2015
Location: Black House Museum; Chiang Rai Night Bazar; Mae Fah Luang Garden & Doi Tung Royal Villa; Wat Rong Khung, and Chiang Rai International Airport.
This resort is located on the banks of Kok River, not far form the centre of Chiang Rai. Our two-night stay in a superior studio was pleasant. The buffet breakfast was standard for this style of resort and does the job. The staff were helpfull and nice, and our room was clean. We've stayed in similar riverside resorts, but we found the grounds of this one needed a little attention - only minor things, such as better care of the lawn and gardens near the river. It looked a little neglected when we were there. The main entry to the resort is rather nice, as is the pool area, with some great photo opportunities. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. It's in a good location - not too far from Chiang Rai International Airport, and only a short drive to some great places such as Black House Museum; Chiang Rai Night Bazar; Mae Fah Luang Garden & Doi Tung Royal Villa, and Wat Rong Khung "White Temple."

Lovely riverside locationPosted Mar 29, 2015
Pros: Room amenities and pool
Cons: More shuttle service times to bazaar.
Location: Walkable to centre of town. Small bar nearby called Freddie's for a quick drink or snack and Melt in Your Mouth restaurant near for great food.
Gorgeous spacious rooms with huge bathroom and large balcony. All the staff were lovely and friendly and eager to help with any enquiries or questions we had. Just a 15 min walk to centre of town where there are some great reastaurants near the night bazaar. Pool area large with lots of sunloungers and overlooking the river. We ate in both restaurants and had drinks in the hotel gardens most nights, both were very good and value for money. The Italian was particularly good.

Nice enough but should be excellentPosted Feb 20, 2015 on Hotels
Nice hotel and very nice room, pleasant and helpful staff, not too far to walk into town. Pool very nice and for a northern european the unheated water was refreshing. Breakfast was just average with cold pancakes and cold bacon but the general sense of this hotel is good with just a need to work a bit harder at some of the details. examples: breakfast not as good as similar places we have stayed at, Minibus to town charge is higher than a taxi so it seems crazy to have it. I would stay there again
