Great stay despite COVID restrictions
Due to COVID, instead of the usual buffet breakfast, we were offered either a Chinese or Western breakfast box at three different pickup times. The Western breakfast (sandwich, hash browns, salad, fruit) was pretty good, while the Chinese breakfast (rice porridge, fruit) was borderline delicious.

It took some times to check-in due to unable to match HOTEL.COM reservation number to their system, guest being asked for their own hotel reservation number!

It was good. But Apples can not connect to wifi.
during my five days of staying, the wifi was able to connect at the first day. but then the rest of staying, i cannot connect at all.

Nicely decorated hotel
Hotel room is clean and tidy. Personally like the corridor and lift lobby on my floor with subtle wooden decorations. Yet, the bus schedule to Alishan and way of purchase were wrongly provided by hotel staff. Suggest guests referring to the Tour Information Counter at train station for more information or Family Mart for purchase.

Nice size and design but wear and tear starting to show (due to quality of material used - e.g. the vanity top in the toilet was made of cheap solid surface top and had all kinds of stains and scratches which could not be removed after cleaning which was a pity as other than that the room was well-designed). Only complaint was the initial service staff who checked us in told us that we had to wait "a while" as they had to check the room first - after waiting 20 minutes we checked again with another staff who told us check-in time was 3pm (we arrived at 2pm), so we actually had an hour to wait. Not great after a long journey and not having had lunch yet. He could have just told us we had an hour to wait and we would have left our luggage there to go have lunch first...

I arrived at the hotel at about 1.45 p.m though I was told that the check-in time is 3.00 p.m. Having been in Taiwan for several times, I have not encountered such experience. Maybe the hotel should exercise a bit of flexibility with regard to the check-in time.

Nice hotel, but not a good room layout.
We had a Japanese style room, with two steps up to the bathroom level. Very modern and nice, but not comfortable room layout and bathroom windows were not covered sufficiently from outside view. Each floor had a big lounge area in the middle with rooms off this area, resulting in noise when lounge area was being used. This was our least favorite hotel on our trip.

Good Hotel in Chiayi
The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a modern feel to it. While remodeled five years ago, it felt like a new hotel as everything was well maintained. The breakfast was not bad, but it did not contain a single fruit which is odd. Food varieties were also a little lacking. Otherwise a really good and reasonably priced hotel to stay in Chiayi.

Main issue was the smell of smoke in the room. There were obvious cigarette burns on the carpet. It is obvious that other guests have done the wrong thing and smoked in the room. Unfortunately, after many requests to deodorise the room, this was not done. We left the hotel several times just so they can do this and unfortunately it wasn't done. The breakfast was also very average and the refilling was quite slow. The location is next to a highway entrance and there is not a lot within walking distance of the hotel. Also, the cleaning staff opened the door despite a "Do not disturb" sign and also with us yelling at him not to come in.

Great hotel for a family
This is a very new hotel with a really big room for a family of 4. I like the decoration at the lobby and in the room. Can tell that the are done with detail and sincerity of the hotel. Really made me feel at room.

Pleasant new hotel
The hotel looked quite new with good facilities and a short taxi ride from the main train station. Convenient location with lots of local food stalls nearby. Staff were friendly and recommended where to eat like a local.

A Creative and Comfortable Hotel
so far everything was great, except the WIFI is not stable, I am staying in 7th floor, highlight to the staff, but still not change. Overall is a very nice hotel to stay in Chiayi, I will stay again when I come back to Chiayi. Hope thing will change better.

Hotel with artistic decoration.
It is just a little bit fast away from the area which is famous for tourist to go shopping and eating. I am attracted by the decoration at the hotel. The photo decoration at the room are also very beautiful. It's about the beautiful scene of AH LEE mountain. Overall, the hotel is very good.

Just to stayover to catch early train
This was the only decent hotel I found online, pretty good review but we didn't realize it was so far to walk to the train station! The roads were not user friendly & good conditions for tourists like us dragging our heavy luggage. Perhaps there was hotel free transfer but we didn't ask as we were rushing off. Overall very nice to zzz.

The room was stylish. We were busy and staying for just one night, so we did not really have the luxury to enjoy it as much as we could have. We were not very impressed about the breakfast though. But we could do our laundry there, which was really good at that point of our Taiwan trip. All in all, the place left a good impression.

房間硬體相對陳舊，地毯有污漬，角落都有破損的狀況，衣櫥散發霉味，離文化路夜市有一段距離 但軟體用品及服務相當不錯，價格也不貴
