“Great place for an airport stay”
A really nice hotel that is reasonably priced. Have stayed here several times when waiting for a morning flight on following day and it's as good as it gets for that purpose. But it's quite remote as a tourist homebase and the services are pricey (the room itself is not). It's very nice, always clean and the staff is always great. Other than location, a great choice.
“Good hotel close to airport.”
10 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from Narita. The next time we go to Japan we will check in first at this hotel and explore Narita, rather than dragging our travel-weary bodies to Tokyo. The rooms are large and comfortable with western style pillows. Also a good location for the last night of the trip because the airport is a long, long way from Tokyo.
“An Ideal Airport Hotel”
I spent the night at the Narita Hilton between two long flights. As far as airport hotels go, this one was perfect. Airport hotels the world over are generally expensive and mediocre. This one is a true exception to the genral rule. The shuttle bus service was efficient. Check-in was quick. The room was clean, comfortable and totally smoke-free (rare in Japan). The room was surprisingly quiet; I didn't hear a single airplane. The breakfast buffet was very good, and probably excellent in terms of Japanese standards. I know there are a number of airport hotels at Narita and this is the only one I have tried. But I assure you, this is a good choice. The only negative comment I have to make is that the long distance telephone rates from the hotel are truly exorbitant. I assume this is standard in Tokyo hotels. So just avoid the hotel phone and use your mobile!
“Fantastic Quality and Service - Best Breakfast Buffet!”
Great hotel for a stopover in Narita. We got a great rate with a buffet breakfast included which I absolutely recommend - has a huge selection of both western and japanese food - will not disappoint. Easy to use shuttle bus service into Narita Airport, Narita City, and Aeon Shopping Centre - a must visit for anyone with a stopover.
“Tokyo Airport Hilton”
This hotel was unpleasant. I needed somewhere to stay that was not too expensive but was near the airport. This hotel seemed to fit the bill. However upon arrival (it somehow took 35 minutes to get there, even though it was "right near the airport") it was even less than I had expected. The room was not clean- the bathroom floor was dirty with hair and literal dirt on it. Gross. No one wants to be reminded in this way that someone else has used the room. Secondly, the hotel room fixtures, such as the AC control and lights and such were very very old and the whole room was dated looking (like old icky pasteboard furniture, and the toilet seat didn't match toilet and worn spots everywhere). Internet access was not included and was an outrageous $.50/a minute! What self-respecting hotel does this these days? While I did not hear any planes, there was almost constant noise from the room above me, thudding and such, or from the hallway with people talking while walking by. I was not near the elevator so no idea as to why this is, other than the doors, floors and walls must be thin and cheap. The breakfast was not included (fine, this happens) but was an insanely priced $30 to buy. I have been to five-star hotels that charge less. I just wanted a clean, quiet, decent place to stay on my overnight layover, and this was not it. I would recommend at least looking at the other airport hotel options near Narita. I was sadly disappointed with this Hilton.
“Quite a nice hotel”
Even thought it was the 'Hilton', the hotel itself and it's grandeur did not reflect in the room. It was comfortable, but not particularly modern. They had shuttles running to Narita and the airport, which were very convenient and all day, so you could go into Narita and also to the shopping mall, which was great. Good to have the shuttle to and from the airport.
“Layover overnight?! Stay here!”
The Hilton is beautiful but it is also Japan and although the entire hotel is non-smoking we ended up in a pretty smoky room. However, they switched us immediately and our room was much less smoky smelling. But, just be prepared.
“Liked it but..........”
Really liked the hotel. The only two issues I have is the restraunt are way too expensive and the fitness facility should not be a charge to the guest.
“Japan 2010”
I love Hilton Hotels and they have always been my preference. The amenities in Narita met all of my expectations.
“Buffet breakfast was fantastic!”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Narita. We were travelling with two kids, ages 5 and 12, and had to book two rooms. The rooms were adjacent and smoke-free. There were vending machines near the elevators with juice, water, and soda: very nice for a cold drink at odd hours. We also had the breakfast special, and the buffet breakfast was fantastic... pancakes, made-to-order omelettes, 5 different types of fruit juices, pastries, plus all the typical Japanesse style breakfast items including miso, salmon, and rice. This was a great way for the kids to be introduced to Japan. Also, we used the free shuttle bus to go to and from the hotel... it was easy to find at the labeled bus stop and the bus itself had the hotel names on it clearly listed in English. The shuttle runs about every 10-20 minutes, depending on time of day. The hotel is a distance from the airport, so expect about 10-15 minutes on the shuttle.
