“Great Location”

Great hotel. Has a shuttle bus to/from airport. The Aeon shopping centre is only 5 minutes away by shuttle bus/taxi. The buffet restuarant food was good but the dinner price was a bit high. There are other food places on the main road. The washing machines and dryers were free to use. The hotel staff were great. Has tennis court and hot outdoor spa's.

“Perfect for a quick stop”

If I had to summarize my opinion of this hotel, it would be "extremely funcional." While this hotel will not amaze you with all the five-star perks and amenities, it has everything to be a very practical stay: clean and comfortable room, adequate buffet breakfast and dinner (all you can eat and drink for a very reasonable price), practically equipped gym, laundry room, free shuttle to and from the airport as well as the closest train station, etc., as well as a convenience store next door when the hotel store doesn't meet your needs. Very reasonably priced and perfect for those who are on their way in from or out to the Narita airport, or for a business traveler making a relatively quick stop into Tokyo and doesn't want the hassle of lugging the bags into Tokyo. Staff was very courteous and helpful, and spoke English (although I am Japanese-speaking). Some fixtures were a bit outdated and free internet would have made it essentially unbeatable (it was about $12 USD so still within reason), but the next time I need a quick stop around Narita I will definitely consider staying there.

“Best value-priced hotel for transit”

Extremely friendly service. Most were able to converse English (contrary to one of the reviewers). Free shuttle makes it excellent to travel into/out of the city center and Narita airport. Quaint location near farm fields makes it a quiet, peaceful place to sleep.

“Will return every year”

This hotel was awesome. When I got it through expedia, i wasnt expecting much, but when the tram turned and I saw the hotel, my jaw hit the floor. The service was excelent, and the price was inexpensive for Japan. I am a huge Pokemon fanatic, and I will be bring my friends here every year for as long as Japan is producing Pokemon movies.

“Great value”

The hotel is in Narita so if you need to get into Tokyo it'll be a 30 minute train ride. The good note is it's cheap and there is a free shuttle to and from the train station.

“Good hotel overall”

Clean hotel and nice rooms, quick & convenient access to the temple nearby. Common laundry area, the gym was ok but could have used more and higher quality weight equipment. Free shuttle to the airport or train station. The only disappointment was the expensive daily rate for in-room wired internet otherwise you had to use the common internet terminals by the lobby. They only had two public computers with internet so you had to wait for a while sometimes till someone left one of the two internet terminals. Would stay here again the next time I need to stay a night in Narita.

“Restful, peaceful hotel”

Shuttle bus to and from airport and shuttle bus to shopping mall very convenient and on time. Breakfast was all we had time for and it was good considering it was included in our hotel stay. Definitely recommend this hotel.

“Excellent value for overnight in transit stay”

Hotel is very comfortable and room was a reasonable size for Japan. Naritasan Temple and Park were within easy 20 min walking distance as was Narita downtown which had reasonably priced restaurants. Shuttle to and from the airport once per hour made it very convenient

“Satisfied solo-traveller!”

I needed a hotel near Narita Airport for one night as I had an overnight transit in Japan. Of course there were cheaper hotels listed on expedia but based on other reviews and my research on my top hotel picks, International Garden Hotel Narita seemed to be the choice. It has reasonable rates, provides complimentary shuttle service to/from hotel and both terminals. If you have several hours to spend, the shuttle also goes to the nearby AEON shopping mall. The room was very spacious; a comfortable bathroom, doublebed, and generous floor space for a solo traveler. My view was of mountain/fields. The window only slides open about 4 inches - i did not need it as it was -4degrees celsius during my stay, however i dont know how that would appeal on a hot humid summer day. There was no trouble checking in and service was prompt and friendly, and their conversational english abilities are very helpful! Downfall is that there arent much places to shop/eat near the hotel in "walking distance" (except a minimart). But if you have a car or dont mind the taxi, then that wont be a problem. I woudl stay at this hotel again.
