In this city of great restaurants, one Chicago Magazine’s “Best New Restaurants in 2009” is our own C-House, by celebrity Chef Marcus Samuelsson. An amazing modern American menu that focuses on farm to table cuisine in an oasis of rustic sophistication. Bites of that same menu rise to the rooftop lounge of the hotel. Located at the 29th floor, C-View, ranked as the “Top Chicago Rooftop Lounge” by Metromix/RedEye.
Why leave a member of the family at home? With Affinia’s Jet Set Pets program, your 4-legged traveling companion will be as welcome and as comfortable as you are. At check-in, request treats, a welcome walk, or other pampering.
Rooms
Sensational style is apparent in our 215 rooms and suites showcasing eclectic furnishings, contemporary colors and generous mirrors. And there's plenty of room for the little ones, your furry friend—or to work on that big presentation. Guest rooms are loaded with comfort and convenience, featuring high-speed Internet access (surcharges), cordless phones with voice mail, CD clock radios with MP3 capability and sound machine options, and 32-inch revolving flat-screen televisions. Work areas with ergonomic chairs, reclining chairs and custom sofa beds, adjustable reading lights, and custom-designed vanities with magnifying make-up/shaving mirrors are provided. All rooms feature our Dream Pillow Menu with six-choices and signature bedding with down comforters wrapped in triple sheeting.

After dinner, enjoy hand-made confections to satisfy any sugar craving through our Candy Bar. On the hotel rooftop, C-View presents delightful selections from the C-House menu in a chic yet relaxed lounge setting, with splendid city views. C-House is open daily for breakfast, lunch & dinner and weekend brunch, providing all food and beverage operations at the Affinia Chicago, including room service and banquets. C-View is open daily at 5pm.

“Great bargain found on Expedia”
The Affinia is in a great location--smack in the middle of the Magnificent Mile, just behind Neiman Marcus. The lobby smells like herbal essence and the concierge is great. A junior suite is a great choice--roomy, with outdoor access.
“One of the best hotels in Chicago”
Terrific hotel - great location, nice amenities, beautiful and large rooms, and comfortable beds. The only problem is the proximity to Northwestern Hospital, which means that an occasional ambulance can go by. But that's no louder than anything else in Chicago. It's one of the best hotels in the city for the price; a really great value.

I have stayed at many, many Chicago hotels, and Affinia stands out as one of, if not THE best hotel I've stayed in. The room was very modern, clean, and beautifully appointed, the service was impeccable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, and look forward to staying here again.
“We'll return to the Affinia”
What a nice hotel! First time we stayed there and we were very happy with it. The suite was attractive and roomy, the bed was very comfortable, and there is ample closet and dressing area. The staff is very helpful and anytime we called the front desk for anything, it arrived within 5-10 minutes. The restaurant was great fun offering an unusual menu with lots of choices not only in entres but also in size of plates. We visit Chicago in September because of the great weather that time of year. We'll be back to the Affinia.
“Chicago Weekend”
Very nice hotel. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Staff was friendly and always helped by providing maps and routes to museams and restaurants. Have stayed at this hotle 4 times over the last 4 years and have never been disappointed.

Great, friendly hotel - I just wish they had better WiFi policy, they charge $10 for each device per day.
“I'd stay again”
We booked the Affinia after a friend recommended it based on location. I've read several reviews on the remodel and I wasn't sure what to expect. The hotel staff will go out of their way for you. The lobby is tight at the moment, but our room was great for the two of us. The room was well thought-out, with proper mirror and electrical outlets strategically placed (excellent for a girls weekend!). The hotel is conveniently located next to Gino's East (yum!) and one block back from Michigan Avenue. The constuction is limited, but I can't wait to see it complete!

Hotel in outstanding condition, with clean rooms, ideal for a nonsmoker. Spacious suite. Close to Michigan St. for major shopping. Would definitely return.

“Very pleasant surprise”
We travel to Chicago often, and found the Affinia room superb (we were upgraded to a small suite), the Expedia price terrific, and the hotel personnel cheerful and helpful. The hotel is still in the process of remodeling (no real lobby yet, exercise room not completed, etc.) but we still had an excellent three-day stay. The location is marvelous, just behind the Neiman-Marcus store on Michigan.
