Within 2 blocks of Chicago's Magnificent Mile and the theater district, the Amalfi is located in the convenient River North district, 1 mile from the Hancock Tower and 2 miles from Lake Michigan.
Urbane atmosphere
Inspired by Italy's Amalfi coast, the hotel's design blends a warm palette into a modern setting. Complimentary breakfast served on every floor and cocktail receptions enliven the urbane atmosphere.
Movies, music, views
Guestrooms with city views offer DVD/CD players, complimentary wireless Internet access, and desks. At day's end, pillowtop mattresses, bathrobes, and Egyptian cotton linens make for restful nights.

Along with its appealing contemporary design, the Amalfi Chicago's location in River North may be its greatest asset. Both the theater district and the Magnificent Mile lie within two blocks. River North itself is a lively district, home to many new restaurants, nightclubs, and art galleries. Concierges, known as "experience designers," are on hand to help guests plan itineraries.
The hotel occupies floors 2-6 of a multi-use building, with an intimate lobby providing street-level access, and a sixth floor "living room" lounge, Ravello, the location of choice for informal socializing. The lounge does not serve cocktails except during the nightly manager's reception, which runs from 5 PM to 8 PM nightly, but Keefer's, a steakhouse in the same building, offers full bar service as well as fine dining.
The hotel serves a complimentary continental breakfast daily. Guests can access the 24-hour business center and arrange use of any of the 4 meeting/conference rooms.
