“WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN”

THE HOTEL WAS IN A GREAT LOCATION, CONVENIENT TO MOST MAJOR SITES. GOOD VALUE AND A GREAT BREAKFAST ON EACH FLOOR. THE STAFF WAS HELPFUL AND RESPONSIVE TO INFORMATION.

“Elegant hotel, easy access to everything”

Have stayed at the Amalfi a few times now, and got a great rate for this trip through Expedia. The breakfast and manager's reception are always high quality, and a nice perk. Very convenient location to all of downtown Chicago, easy to get to the El line, walk to most destinations. The only negative on this trip was a requested wake-up call that we didn't receive! Luckily, this didn't mean a missed meeting or flight, but could have been a serious issue. Will definitely stay here again.

“Great value hotel”

We got a great package on the Expedia website and for the cost of the hotel we were very happy. If we had been paying a higher rate we may not have been as satisfied.

Good sized rooms, comfortable bed, well maintained facilities and helpful staff. Luxurious feel but not obtrusively so. The free drinks in the evening are a real bonus

This hotel lived up to everything I read and more. Service was impeccable. Greeted by each employee at every entrance and exit. Willing to go extra mile and help- just ask! Would definitely recommend to others and stay there again!

“Excellent Service and Comfort!”

I had an excellent experience at the Amalfi Hotel! The location was nice--not RIGHT in the middle of all the action downtown, but still a convenient distance. Mostly I loved the feel of the hotel. It was very chic both in the lobby areas and also in the rooms. We found everything very comfortable. The staff was very professional and helpful. One evening we also took advantage of the complimentary nightly cocktail party. It wasn't anything super fancy, but there were nice little hors d'oeuvres and what isn't great about complimentary cocktails, wine, and beer?! It was a wonderful start to the evening! Overall, I was VERY happy with this hotel and would definitely recommend a stay here.

“Wonderful boutique style hotel”

This hotel has a fabulous location in the River North area, a short walk to the Magnificent Mile and the Loop. The concierge staff check you in and are happy to answer questions and recommend restaraunts and areas to explore, and arrange for tickets and tours. There is no restaurant on the property, but there are many places to eat in the area. The hotel provides a continental breakfast on each floor. It's adequate, but not special. They have bagels, but no toaster and no knives are provided to spread the cream cheese, butter or jam. This is a small criticism of the hotel. The nightly cocktail reception is great, offering free drinks and Italian style appetizers. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. Bring your lap top, because the wireless internet is free in your room.

“Nice place!”

The hotel was very conveniently situated - very clean and welcoming. The room (and the bed) was very comfortable. The breakfast bar on each floor was a nice idea and there was plenty to eat. The evening reception was very pleasant too and quite a surprise - there was a very good selection of food and drink there too! We enjoyed our stay at the Amalfi and I would certainly recommend it
