“Not bad Not great”

For the price it was just OK. Daytime staff was much friendlier than night crew. I got a non-smoking room but the hallway smelled of smoke. When I got anywhere near the door I smelled the hallway smoke. I noticed there was about a half inch gap at the bottom of the door so I put a towel across the bottom of the door and that solved the problem. I mentioned the hallway smoke-smell to one of the evening staff and they offered to change my room. They didn't seem at all interested in the fact that someone might have been smoking in the hallway. No parking charges, that was good.

Area recommendations
Stay on the near North side of the city if possible. Lots of things to do there.

“Nice for the price”

Room needed to be updated and had a bit of an oder, but nice for the price. The hote didnt have a pool but I loved that the room had a refridgerator and microwave. The tub was very clean and the complimentry breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel to weekend travelers wanting to save a few bucks.

“Worn out!”

The motel is at least a couple of years overdue for refurbishment. Hallway carpet was worn and looked dirty. They were preparing to redo the parking lot the next day and getting the luggage and children hearded in was inconvenient.

Area recommendations
This is convenient to the expressway but the street is noisy.

“Excellent Customer Service”

We were very happy with our stay at Baymont. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They went out of there way to make our stay enjoyable. We wanted to see a Chicago White Sox game and they shuttled us to the Metra and picked us up when we got back to our train stop. Most places only shuttle to airports!

Area recommendations
It was a great hotel to stay in if you were interested in downtown Chicago. The cost of the hotel is very affordable than the hotels within walking distance of the downtown area. We were also shuttled to the Metra to get on the train that took right to downtown Chicago...no hassle...no parking...no traffic issues!!

“Clean, comfortable, and affordable.”

Room was clean and well maintained. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Close to Midway airport. Affordable.

“clean room fair price”

“Great Value!”

My travels usually only require "a place to sleep and shower". This hotel fit the bill perfectly at a fair rate.

“very pleased”

was only there for my son's wedding so ddidn't spend to much time in the hotel. when I was there they very helpful and also helped me to get to the airport without any problems
