Good Value!Posted Aug 20, 2014
Cons: It needs updating.
Location: Again location was safe and convenient to shopping.
My stay at the Baymont was very enjoyable. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The hotel is going to receive renovations over the next year so the decor is dated and the pool and jacuzzi are not operational. The area seemed safe and noticed nothing to bring me concern.. There is plenty of shopping near by. The fitness center is in a very dated room but you can still get some cardio or a weight training workout with the universal. If you are a budget conscious traveler this is a great place to stay.

Trip to Six Flags Great AmericaPosted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: If you are just looking for a place to sleep for a night it will do but I wouldn't recommend for longer stays if you are wanting a pool to use.
Cons: The rooms could definitely use some improvements. They should really have the pool open during summer!
When we arrived you could see the hotel had just changed from a Comfort Inn to Baymont because there was a sign hanging over the previous hotel name but could still be seen. As we were checking in they asked if the payment would be made on the Mastercard they had on file even though payment had been made on the Expedia website. The address they had listed for us and the MasterCard listed wasn't ours. The lady at the desk was quite rude, when we asked what was the easiest way to get to our room she told us to park on the side and there was a door there we could come through. We did that and found if we would have parked on the other side or in the front it would have been much closer to the room but instead we had to drag everything clear across the entire length of the hotel. She didn't offer to tell us what time the continental breakfast and only gave us one key to the room. The pool had a sign on the door that said it was "closed for the season"...it was 80 degrees out so that was a bit crazy! The room was ok for a 1 night stay. The tub was really stained up and the fan in the bathroom was really loud. The beds were ok but nothing special.

Nice staff, dirty toilet!Posted May 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
The young man at the check-in desk was great, The hotel is dated, bathroom was like a very small closet. The toilet had a black ring at the water line, yuk!!! The lav faucet had the hot & cold water reversed (we initially thought there was no hot water until we switched to the cold side and received hot water).

A place to crashPosted Feb 13, 2014
Pros: Front desk and coffee
Cons: Heating. More comfortable bed.
Location: Was just there for a business meeting.
I stayed here the night before a business meeting in a neighboring town. The rates here are lower than other places in the north suburbs but the experience was also a bit lacking. I had issues with the heat regardless of what I did with it - either too hot or too cold. There were specks of nail polish on the bathroom floor and an old soap still in the shower. The staff was very friendly and the coffee downstairs was pretty good.

Great BargainPosted Dec 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice room for the price. Although the property is a little bit dated, it is well maintained and clean. Lots of nearby amenities. Will definitely consider again.

Pleasantly SurprisedPosted Dec 1, 2013
We just stayed overnight. We were greeted immediately by a very courteous front desk person upon arrival. The room was a very nice size, super clean and looked as though it had been recently upgraded. I would definitely choose this place again if staying in the area. An added bonus was the breakfast with eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy along with the usual fruits and cereal of the continental breakfast.
