“Best Western's Grant Park Hotel”

Convenient, clean and affordable. We were very pleased with the condition of the room and linens. Also, it was really easy to navigate to downtown attractions and a bonus being right across the street from Grant Park. We could even see the lake and the fireworks from Navy Pier when standing by our window. I would definitely stay there again.

“Clean, no-frills room with a great location”

This hotel is in great location. The park is right across the street and a lot of area attractions and shopping are within walking distance (if you don't mind walking). The staff was very friendly and cheerfully answered all our "touristy" questions. The room was clean. There was free wireless throughout and a couple of computers in the lobby. There is also a kiosk for confirming your flight reservations and printing tickets. I stayed here for the Rock and Roll Half Marathon in August and would definitely stay here again. The race starts and finishes in the park.

“Can't wait to go back!”

Other than the price of parking we had a great time, the hotel was located in a good spot, close to sight seeing points of interest. There is a place to eat attached to the hotel, and it had great food, there are also other places to eat within walking distance, and places to shop. The staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful, we will go back there next year and bring friends.

“GREAT STAY!”

the hotel was easy to find and its near some nice restaurants and grocery store so finding something to eat was no problem. When we got to our room it was very nice and clean the bed was big and comfy the only issue was the heater but after a few mins it did get warm. All in all it was a great stay for a cheat price me and my boyfriend would definitely stay here again

“Great Value And Location”

Stayed at this hotel from Monday thru Thursday April 2011 for visit to area university. Very satisfied with overall experience. The hotel definitely is showing its age with a few cosmetic deficiencies, but room was spotless and beds were comfortable. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, responsive to needs. They recommended pizza place for late night delivery and they forgot part of order. Night clerk said she would "straighten it out with them" and they did! Upon checking out, I let them know safety latch on inside of door was broken and bathroom sink faucet handle came off with more than a gentle push. They dutifully noted this and immediately put in a work order for repair. Paint on bathroom door could use touching up along with wallpaper, but room was clean and comfortable. TV channel choices limited but adequate. Superb location to South Loop action! Very reasonable rate compared to others nearby. Excellent breakfast and lunch places around corner, Yolk on South Michigan and Eleven City Diner on Wabash!!!

“I liked this place”

Southern edge of downtown.. nice people work there... overworked maybe but trying their heart out. This is a good hotel. It was VERY worth the money. I stayed here for 2 nights in a row. The breakfast was nice, coffee/orange juice ... bagels/doughnuts ... and the lobby was full of people enjoying talking to eachother each morning (I wished I had gotten up earlier to get a good seat .. I got up about 9am and would have liked to listen to all the different languages) I got the feeling that the people that worked there cared about helping each and eveyone of us ..but were frazzeled .. :-) that's the hotel business I guess. But, they were always smiling. I liked it here .. and I when am in Chicago I will stay here. This place has a heart .... in my opinion anyway ... Ric ..

“Clean hotel, kinda smelly but worth it for the price.”

This hotel was in a great location and was a great place for my friends and I to stay. It was initially a little smelly, but that was really just the hallway-once we got into the room it was fine. It was right next to the red line which was very useful in getting around Chicago. It was also definitely worth it for the price and I would stay there again if I am back in Chicago.
