Pros: Breakfast was good
Cons: Clean the Mold
Location: Shopping close
The hotel is in a goid location but needs up dating. Mold growing in bathroom. Need not have my reservation at first. Was under the wrong month. Was planning to stay again next month but will find another hotel

Pleasant stay

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Price was reasonable, it was clean.
Cons: Air conditioners could work better. Bad bedding could be replaced to make the guest feel more comfortable. the breakfast could have better variety.
Location: Was not far from Medieval times, many restaurants and shopping. Close to highways.
The hotel was recently refurbished, so it was in very nice condition. But you could tell you weren't staying at a high class hotel. My bedspread looked like a body was laying under it when no one was in the bed...all the stuffing was pushed to one side of the seams and it wasn't moving. The bathroom was a little small and the tile work was bad. But the room was clean and it had a fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. All in all, It was decent for the price we paid. We enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings, but it could have had a little more variety. Be ready to eat scrambled eggs everyday for your hot meal. They also had cereal, bagels, toast and yogurt. But never saw pancakes, or French toast...nothing hot but scrambled eggs.

Convenient location.

Cons: Trying to make a left hand turn out of the hotel on to Algonquin
Upon arrival we had trouble with the AC. We went to the desk and immediately was assigned to a new room.

Overall stay was okay. There was no fan in the bathroom. The lighting in the room was kind of dim. No other services provided for example, being able to order movies. Complimentary breakfast was goos. Staff was very nice.

Wouldn't stay again willfully

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Upon check in we were not notified that the pool was closed, as to why we were given a different reason by five different staff members. The room wasn't clean, beef jerky and frosting on the floor, and hair in the shower. The hotel didn't have any hot water, even if left on for FIVE minutes. The in room ac was LOUD, and woke up our five year old everyone out came on, even though it didn't hardly cool the room. The beds were lumpy and creeky. If you feel this is a good hotel option for you, I would say spend the extra money for another place.

Good alternative to nearby Holiday Inn

Posted Aug 23, 2014
I chose the BW because of its proximity to the Holiday Inn where I was attending a conference. Considerably less expensive. Room was nice - bed and pillows were just ok. I would bring my own pillow next time. The in-room refrigerator and microwave were nice to have and the desk and chair were comfortable. Nice updates have been made and the staff was very friendly. Very conveniently located near Woodfield mall. I would come back again.

Week-end stay

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Good for the price, great hot breakfast, supposed free WIFI
Cons: WIFI not available in some areas- my room was at the end of the hallway and could not get a good connection. AC thermostat not accurate.
Generally a good impression, reasonably clean, friendly staff. Ok for a short stay The AC didn't quite work unless you set the thermostat to much lower temperature, luckily the weather was good. Also the free WIFI did not work in my room. Breakfast was good but at times there were too many guests and not enough staff, had to wait for more food to come from kitchen

Very nice room at a very reasonable price!

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: There was a lovely pond that was nicely landscaped with benches surrounding it. We could see this from our sliding glass doors
Location: We had selected this hotel because we were attending The Leadership Summit at Willow Creek Church which was very close by. Midieval Times is nearby
The room was lovely with a king size bed, desk, closet, large flat screen TV, small fridge and free internet. The bathroom was a nice size with tile floor and walls, granite looking counter top, the shower had terrific water pressure and a curved shower curtain bar for extra roomy shower. It looked as if it was recently renovated. We especially requested a non smoking room due to allergies - there was absolutely no cigarette smell. There are stores and places to eat very close by. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Superficicial renovations, subpar hotel

Posted Aug 16, 2014
The room was obviously recently updated. However, there was some gross, gooey stuff stuck on the bathroom mirror, and there was something sticky on the carpet. The staff offered to switch my room, but I was there to relax after driving for 8 hours. The staff at the front office was reluctantly helpful. The "complimentary breakfast" was a subpar continental breakfast.
