“Home Sweet Home”

I loved the location of the hotel. It's in a quiet neighborhood with great restaurants and bars. It's very close to the Dempster Rd "El" station. There was a great view out of my room on the 8th floor. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It was such a comfortable place to stay that my friend and I would refer to going back to the hotel at night as "going home." I would definitely stay there again!

“A Good Hotel to Come Back to”

Attending my son's recital at the university, my wife and I found this hotel to be very clean and comfortable. Its proximity to the university was most helpful. The staff was courteous and pleasant. The continental breakfast provided was a great start to the day, and the restaurant across the street offered a delicious and affordable dining experience (including a discount for hotel guests). The hotel has its own parking garage; a plus where parking spaces on the street are costly due to metering. Unfortunately, the hotel charges its guests an additional daily fee to use the garage - which I found to be the only drawback to our stay.

“A hidden value in Chicago”

This property was conveniently located to my morning travels. You never really know what you're going to get the first time you stay at a property but I have to say that I was pleased with my choice. When I travel to Chicago on overnighters....I usually arrive late and leave early, so it is always nice to have things in proper order when you arrive. If I had any complaints at all...it would be that I do not recall a warning that parking would be extra...you expect it downtown - but not necessarily off in the burbs....

“Older hotel, but great service”

This hotel was a bit dated, but the service and location made up for it. The room was clean, and I particularly liked the nice white sheets and white sheeted comforter; in a hotel, this is always better than a bedspread (that doesn't get laundered after each guest). There is a nice variety of restaurants in walking distance, and a convenient parking garage. I would definitely stay here again.

I took two friends with me to see family in Chicago and we stayed at the Best Western in Evanston. It was very comfortable and extremely convenient both for driving into town and for using mass transit once we were there. It is a very nice experience.

Our stay there was great. We weren't able to find what we needed in Chicago in the price range we needed. Staying in Evanston was perfect because we were close enough to Chicago, but there was still plenty to do in Evanston... great shopping and food! We'll stay there again when we go to Chicago!
