“Loved the location”
Only two blocks away from the Sears Tower and a few to the Chicago Art Institute, this location was great. The staff was helpful in getting us around the city safely and cheaply.
“Clean, friendly staff & great location!”
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Location is great - close to the Sears Tower, Michigan Ave., art museum, Grant Park, the lakefront & Giordano's pizza!! Just a few blocks from the blue & red line L so makes getting to Wrigley or the airport cheap and easy. Would definitely stay again.
“Highly recommend for business travelers”
If you are looking for a nice, affordable hotel , this is the place to stay. Public transportation is very close by, and the attached restaurant is great for breakfast. Though the rooms are technically small, they did an amazing job utilizing the space, which makes it feel bigger.
“Affordable. Great Location. Perfect.”
This is a great place -- we are the type to get up and see the city so we don't need too much. The bed was appropriately comfortable and the room offered all necessary accomodations -- and had air conditioning. A nice treat: they offer bottled water that is refillable. We grabbed some of their coffee early in the morning and an apple that they put out -- after using the free internet service. We will stay there again and we are excited they have hotels in other cities -- a great price and a good deal.
“Convenient to everything in the Loop and best value I could find”
I needed to travel to downtown Chicago on business. My usual preferred hotel chain was sold out. Other well-known brands were priced in the stratosphere. This hotel was reasonably priced so I booked 3 rooms for my business partners. The hotel had the fastest service I have ever experienced for check-in and check-out. Valet parking was courteous and quick. It was convenient to anything a traveler could need (within the block or within a few blocks). Quickly accessible from water taxi at South Wacker, train at Union Station, subway (Red Line on State street) and from I-90/94. Rooms were small (like all downtown hotels), but modern, well-appointed and very European in atmosphere.
“Great place to stay!”
Central Loop Hotel was in a perfect location for walking to Chicago's attractions and was also convenient to the City Transit. The staff was so friendly and helpful to let us know what bus or train to get on in order to get where we wanted. I would definitely stay here again.
“Perfect for young people”
Im a young adult and I stayed @ the Club Quarters Central Loop for the porpose of auditioning for colleges in Chicago. The hotel is Clean, Confortable, and the staff was very nice. There was free internet and coffe in the sub- Lobby/Lounge. The room was small but very cozy and there were free bottles of water in the hallways.
“Only Small Problems”
The Central Loop Hotel is very conveniently located, has a courteous staff and really nice rooms. My only niggling complaints were that the voice mail system never worked while I was there and my room was directly opposite the freight elevator, which made sleeping rather difficult. But other features--free filtered water, laundry and computer services--more than compensate.
“Just what we were looking for.”
Very central location. Front desk staff were very attentive and responded to any requests immediately. Free internet in the room, free business center with lounge and snack bar. Room was perfectly fine. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Chicago.
“Central and convenient, friendly staff, comfortable: excellent!!”
We were here two nights. The rooms are small (European-like) but very cute and comfortable. We really have no complaints, except for cost (we took advantage of an advertised special).
