Cozy room in great location

Posted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: Location, amenities.
Cons: Consistent housekeeping times.
Location: Center of "the loop," walking distance to the Art Insitute and Millenium Park, great bars and restaurants, and close to mulitple public transit stops
A small room but very well organized to maximize space and function. Great location in downtown Chicago, right in the loop as advertised. Housekeeping and cleanliness was a little iffy, but overall we had a great time there and would stay again.

City centre hotel in very good and safe location.

Posted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: Good free internet facilities.
Cons: No fridge in room, although not really needed as free chilled water and ice was provided on each floor.
Location: Central location in business area close to the river walk and railway station. Also, only a short walk from Macys and main shopping area.
Very well located hotel in the centre of Chicago, easy to find and close to public transport links, including Blue train to airport. The hotel was spotless and staff friendly and attentive. Very good free Wi-Fi and free internet facilities. I could find no fault with this hotel.

Hotel céntrico y a buen precio

Posted Jul 17, 2015

My first trip to Chicago

Posted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: Very close to downtown Chicago. Michigan Avenue was only 2 blocks away. Found it easy to get access to the places I had to go.
Cons: Continental breakfast would be nice to be added to the stay. I did find they provided free filtered water with bottles, but couldn't find any free sn
Location: The location is only 2 blocks from Michigan Avenue. Walking to the heart of downtown Chicago takes about 15 - 20 minutes and you are very close to th
Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Found the room clean and presentable. Would request additional towels as they don't leave many in the room. Hotel service was warm and welcoming and agreed to hold onto baggage when room wasn't ready for early entry.

Great Location, close to everything

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Location, price, staff, water bottles and cleanliness.
Cons: Sound between the rooms and of the elevator. :-)
Location: Location is near Fine Arts Institute, Sears Tower, and downtown Chicago. Basically close to everything. It was very close to the Blue Line as well.
I visited Chicago end of June and will be back end of July...I will stay here again. My daughter was in a Pre Summer college program at SAIC and this was conveniently close to her campus and housing and the Fine Arts Institute. It was also close to everything you needed to see in downtown Chicago. The Blue line was just a block or so away and we used it to visit other areas of Chicago and I even took the Blue line back to O'Hare airport...easier than the shuttle. All of the staff were excellent...they were friendly and accommodating. In fact the staff told me about Wicker Park area and the blue line...great place to shop and eat away from downtown. The rooms were small...but I really only sleep in the rooms. But they were clean and comfortable. The bottled water available was very convenient...we used it daily. The hotel is located next to a Starbuck's, so it was nice to get decent cup of coffee every morning. The bar next door is great for drinks!! But, food was typical bar food and I would not pay money to eat there, when there are so many good places to eat in the surrounding areas. I am planning to come back for 3 nights at end of July....the price, staff, location...can't be beat. :-)

Nice hotel. Exceptional service!

Posted Jul 13, 2015
The hotel was close to everything. The service was exceptional with friendly desk staff and house keeping. The only thing I'd have to say negative was no mini fridge in the room and ice machine on only one floor.

Good location

Posted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: staff, location, access to computers
Cons: more towels to start
Location: BB restaurant, a couple of pubs, right down the street from the Art Institute and Millennium Park
Very friendly and helpful staff. Within walking distance of lots of things. ie. sites, trains, buses, restaurants. Small room for the price, but comfortable. I could have used a few extra towels to start. Big communal room with lots of computers. Would go there again!
