LOVE this place!

Posted Dec 19, 2014
Pros: Location, clean, friendly
Cons: Rooms could be bigger, but that's a minor issue... nothing bad to say
Rooms are not huge, but for the price in downtown Chicago you can't beat it. The location is excellent for riding Amtrak in/out of town and you are close to the museums and Michigan Avenue. Its only a few dollars more than the Travelodge off Wabash, and its a whole other universe when you step in the doors of Club Quarters.

Booked because of closeness to City Winery.

I know Chicago rates are high but we stayed in a similar sized hotel in St.Louis a few months ago, with free parking, happy hour snacks and breakfast.... big difference! Club Quarters has no on-site parking - lot is 2 blocks away for an extra $24, no breakfast, no amenities besides bottled water. The room was small but clean. Bed was uncomfortably firm for our taste. Only one set of towels although the shampoo and lotion smelled delicious. Staff was very friendly.

Great central location

Pros: Location, price and the BED!
Cons: Keep the fresh fruit, soft drinks, and trail mix out on the weekend.
Location: Great location. Was able to take in the Christmas markets and all Chicago has to offer all.
Just want we were looking for to take in the sites and sounds of a great city. Best sleep my wife and I had in years. My wife wanted to pack up the mattress and pillows and take them home with her.

Pros: The friendly staff was great while staying at the hotel. Friendly staff and great customer services goes a long way.
Cons: The restaurant "Elephant Castle" was not an enjoyable experience. The staff was slow and the food was nothing spectacular.
Location: The location is perfect! I was traveling by train and was able to walk to and from Union Station in a short few minutes.
The Club Quarters hotel was an excellent stay for me while visiting in Chicago. When first checking in the auditor working the front desk was very helpful and pleasant. The room was small, but clean and the perfect temperature upon arriving. While I was staying at the hotel I walked most places, but the times I did take a cab the doormen were very helpful in hailing a cab while I waited inside. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in downtown Chicago.

good business hotel

Conveniently located in financial district, very pleasant staff. This was my first time staying at a Club Quarters but apparently they are in several locations, mainly financial district-type locations. Comfortable and clean amenities; the bath was a little outdated.

Decent hotel

Posted Dec 9, 2014
I booked the hotel so I could stay down in the loop for my birthday. It's walking distance from state st & Union station so that was a plus. For some reason when I tried to check in my reservation number was already in use or something. But the staff was very accomdating so they got me a room regardless. The rooms are small but I was only staying one night so that wasn't a big deal. Pillows are too soft had to ask for more. No mini fridge for food or drinks.
