Location: Close restaurant
I had 2 rooms and was checking out one day early and they wouldn't refund or give me any kind of compensation for monies spent.

Allow me to apologize on behalf of our hotel for failing to meet your expectations regarding compensation for a 1 night stay with us that was reserved for 2 nights. I believe I have responded to you previously and we can only tell you that when you book through a 3rd party and are prepaid the hotel has limited control over those reservations. When you book directly through the hotel we do have control. We are very sorry you are unhappy, however, given the circumstances we cannot offer compensation. Comfort Inn Des Plains, Il.

Hotel was conveniently located, however my cloths that were in the closet and dresser drawers smelled like mildew when I got home. I think it was from the cleaning fluid housekeeping spray in the room. My room was on the 2nd floor and the bathroom had ants on the floor.

I have addressed these issues with our General Manager, Head Housekeeper and our Maintenance Engineer, and we have had the room you occupied completely deodorized, and the bathroom exterminated. We are particularly diligent with the ant issue, although we spray the perimeter of the building every spring those pesky little ants do manage somehow to get in. Thank you for letting us know. Guest comments always help us improve. We do sincerely appreciate your comments and do hope you will give us another opportunity to provide you with superior service and accommodations on your next visit to our area. ok to crash in for a night

Check in was very slow process considering I had already paid for the room online. Overall room was average except for bathroom, which although clean, was in desperate need of refurbishing

Pros: comfortable and quiet
Location: Nice resteraunt right next door,close to major hwy and close to both Park Ridge and Des Plaines
I flew into Ohare from Las Vegas and didn't want to fight traffic driving home.So I chose to stay at this very nice,clean comfortable hotel to get some much needed rest.Then I had a nice complimentary breakfast before driving home.

Friendly staff but smelly room

Pros: staff, lobby and breakfast
Cons: repair water damage in room and air out the smell
Staff was great. Lobby was very nice. Breakfast was good. The room was ok. Bathroom very tiny (in fact wash basin was not in bathroom.) Room had water damage on ceiling that was partially repaired. Still had brown spots, but holes were plastered. Room smelled musty from water. So much that my clothes had the smell on them when i left.

Reasonable hotel, slightly pricy, near O'hare

Cons: Close proximity to O'hare.
Location: We didn't go to any attractions or local activities.
Airport shuttle and proximity to O'hare was important for our trip. They had a light breakfast for us in the morning. Overall it was good, and I would go there again.

Good Hotel and Restaurant

This was a business trip. The hotel has been updated and is very pleasant. We understand they serve a hot breakfast, though we had made other arrangements and didn't eat there. The breakfast area looked nice, and there was coffee available. Our room had a microwave and refrigerator as well as a coffee maker, and the furnishings and bathroom were updated. The shower was excellent. The bed was harder than we prefer, but it would please many. The linens were attractive and comfortable. Tiffany's Restaurant is just across the parking lot, and it was very good the one night we had dinner there. They serve breakfast all day and a wide variety of sandwiches and meals. Excellent service and very good food. They also serve beer, wine and cocktails. We will certainly stay at this Comfort Inn in the future.

Good no-frills place to stay

Good place to stay for a quick work trip, free wifi and breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms. No-frills, good place. Not much to do around the hotel itself though.

I would like to let you know for futurre reference that 1/2 mile away is the Rivers Casino that not only has gambling but also entertainment and several food venues, and they pick up and return at our hotel on request. Also a short cab ride away are a movie theater and a pletheora of dining treasures. ie Capitol Grill, Gibson's , McCormick and Smicks etc.. I do hope this variety entices you to stay with us again, we did enjoy haveing you as our guest. Again, thank you for your time and valuable feedback.
