The first night the AC wasnt working at all. We asked about it the next morning and were informed that some of the rooms were under a central system. They moved us to a different room where we had control over the temperature. It was much better after that. The bed and pillows aren't very comfortable, but the room was clean and the staff was friendly and accomadating.

Had to go to front desk 8 times from approximately 3 pm on Saturday & 8 am on Sunday to get room entry card swiped with room entry. I wasn't the guest that complained about the room entry card system

Cons: Handicapped parking spaces.
Location: Lots of shopping and restaurants.
The room was close to the pool and workout room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.The parking lot was full I'm handicapped and had to park a block away. I would book a room at this hotel if I'm back in the area. Overall happy with the hotel

Dirty and poor. Maintenance was occurring and the housekeeping service thought 815am was a good time to knock on the door and ask if I wanted housekeeping.

30 Mins Away From Chicago Downtown

Very nice, would definitely stay here again. The hotel was newly remodeled, the beds and pillows more comfortable than even my own at home. The rooms, hallways, lobby, and continental breakfast room were clean and tidy. The swimming pool and spa were extremely inviting. There was a fitness room with 2 stationary bicycles, a stair climber, treadmill, and weights. I enjoyed the free connectivity of the Wired and Wireless High Speed Internet. A Business Center is available for traveling professionals needs with a computer. The hotel also has a banquet room available for special events/wedding receptions. It is located near shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. They have online gambling machines and bottled beer available in the lobby. Couldn't have possibly found anywhere else better to stay for the price with all of the conveniences and amenities and the extremely helpful, friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Mold!

We were put on the fourth floor where half the floor was under construction. The walls were covered with mold. Since the wing we were on had yet to be demo'd, I can only suspect that there was mold behind our walls as well. Stains on the carpets. The elevator was dirty throughout the stay. The towels were threadbare and the air conditioner was noisy. The morning breakfast helper was impersonal with no eye contact and 'vacant.' There were no bagels on the tray and she was no where around when needed. All in all not a good stay.

Should have slept in the CAR

Apparently being a "Choice Privileges" member, checking in early (5 pm), correcting the front desk clerk that I needed TWO beds, not a King, makes absolutely no difference!! He "rebooked" me into a double room. We were on a tight schedule and didn't have time to check the room. Won't make that mistake again! When we returned to the hotel at 1:00 am, we discovered a King bed, not 2 doubles, on a floor under heavy re-construction. The strong odor of drywall mud, sawdust and paint permeated the air. Construction was not mentioned AT ALL! By the next morning my eyes were seriously burning. Thankfully neither of us are asthmatic. The night-time front desk clerk was very rude and unsympathetic, but agreed to send up a rollaway "whenever someone can get to it". No apology…clearly we were an inconvenience. Truly infuriating. #1 – be honest about the rooms. We checked in at 5 pm, I could have found a different hotel, don't lie and tell me I'm in a double room when it was not; #2 – any guest should AT LEAST be warned ahead of time about construction and AT BEST, offered an alternative; #3 – when someone is not happy about the circumstances – AT LEAST an apology should be forthcoming! The rollaway was like sleeping on a steel taco shell, my dog's bed is more comfortable. Do NOT recommend this property.
