This hotel was nicer than I thought it would be! Rooms were "roomy", very clean and comfortable!! The television had several stations to choose from including free "pay stations" and pillows on the bed that were incredibly nice to lounge on. Great bedding too! Shower had lots of water pressure and shampoo and lotion was restocked each day. And price was very affordable I'd definitely come back to this hotel! Julie E. San Diego, CA

“Amazing Value”

I got a super deal on this hotel b/c they'd just remodeled and were under new ownership... This place was so nice, I couldn't believe it!! Everything about it was wonderful from the super friendly staff to the condition of the halls/elevator/rooms... I was a solo traveler (young woman) and felt very safe and comfortable while I was there and enjoyed visiting places in the surrounding area too (restaurants, movies, shops, etc) I will admit that I didn't try the breakfast (the pillows were too comfy for me to get down there by 9:00 on a vacation getaway!) and also the hot tub was closed while I was there. But other than that, it was wonderful and I'd gladly stay there again!!

“Average hotel at a good price”

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and service was as I would expect of any hotel, good. I didn't have to deal with the staff a lot which is a good sign in and of itself. Check in and check out went very smoothly. I had left a couple items hainging in the closet and called them as soon as I realized it. They packed it up and shipped it to me and it arrived quickly which means they must have gotten it shipped out immediately. My only complaints about my stay were the bed and the continental breakfast. The bed was perhaps the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on, it seems like they are very old and should have been replaced some time ago. The continental breakfast was, well, poor. I have a hard time even calling it a breakfast, more like a morning snack. As a whole, I would recommend this hotel. The rooms are very nice and clean and the staff was great.

“It was alright”

I was staying at this hotel because I was out to visit my boyfriend and for the price I paid (summer expedia discount) I had no complaints but I would not pay $90 a night (how much rooms were actually going for). The room was great, very spatious, and comfortable. Our remote for the tv did not work and when we asked for a new one they said they could not help us out and to use the side controls on the tv. The younger man at the front desk seemed very confused or new to the hotel every time I asked for information or surrounding sites to visit. The older man at the front desk at night was extremely rude to us both and when we came in late one night from a night out he asked me numerous questions and told me he did not think I actually was staying there. The only other concern is they advertise a pool and when I first arrived I noticed the pool was the size of a hot tube and did not look very clean. Overall, my experience was alright because we stayed in our room or went downtown a lot.

“Will not go back”

I first checked in, got to my room and the first thing i noticed was the heavy perfume smell. The second thing was my TV remote was missing and the third is the wifi did not work on the 5th floor. I asked to move my room but the hotel was booked due to high school graduation. When I went to go to bed I noticed the sheets were dirty and appeared as if someone shined their shows with black shoe polish with them. The next day I asked if they could move my room and they were able to accomodate. However the same heavy perfume smell (probably cleaning products) was still there. The TV had a remote, but the set was old and the color was so off it was difficult to watch.
