The staff were friendly and professional.the hotel's up keep was nice the decor seemed updated.the room was cleaner than any I have come across on my travels.

Pros: Good structure. Cooperative staff, Nice parking. Also economical.
Cons: Improve breakfast menu, include continental. Newspaper & fruit basket for all rooms.
Location: Went to downtown with visits of beach, museums, Sears sky deck. Went to Asian street for Pakistani dishes.
Great experience, easy to choose online, staff very prompt and decent. House keeping quite good.

Pool was completely closed down due to maintenance, something they "conveniently" forget to inform you of before your arrival. Asked for a receipt when checking out and was, and was told I am not allowed to have one since I booked through expedia, will make getting reimbursed a nightmare now.

Great hotel

Comfort Suites is a great hotel. Pool was closed but we were notified the night before we arrived. Only thing they could add would be a lounge area.

Hotel Doesn't Care About Guest Experience

One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was because of the pool and hot tub, especially since it was below zero during our stay. However at approximately 7 PM the night before I received a call from the hotel, who left a voicemail, stating the pool was out of service. As soon as I arrived, I inquired about the possibility of receiving some kind of rate reduction due to the pool being out of service and only hearing about the issue outside of the window of canceling my reservation without penalty, per their policy. After expressing my disappointment about the pool, the front desk attendant stated, "That's why I called all our guests last night, so they would have time to make other arrangements if they would like." I told her that I did not have enough time considering I was not contacted until the evening prior, and her only response was, "Sometimes things break. How dare they?" I found this somewhat ironic considering I was standing next to a plaque on the wall that said if I was not completely satisfied with anything to state my concerns so they could correct the problem. In addition, upon entering my room, a plastic guard for the wall was lying on the floor and one of the rods to pull the curtain was also laying on the sill. I also noticed two black stains on our "clean" towels. This hotel clearly does not care about their guest experience. I will never stay here again.

Disappointing

The hotel was disappointing. Upon arrival there was a sign on the desk that the pool was out of order. Not a big deal as I didn't need to use it, but before I even arrived at my room the 2 ice machines I passed on my way to the room had the same out of order sign. Another guest in the elevator told me there was laundry equipment with the same sign. After unpacking and heading down to the exercise room to hop on the treadmill, encountered another out of order sign - this time on the one and only treadmill they had. While eventually most items were repaired during my stay, the treadmill was not. I was told by someone at the desk he would leave me a message about repairs so I could make plans to workout elsewhere, but I never got any response. There was an option to either drive or walk on an icy trail to an off-site fitness center, but after doing that once the inconvenience was a hassle so I just opted to run outdoors. With so many options nearby, I will opt for another hotel when I return to the area.
