Great place to stay in Chicago

Posted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: Great location. Great facilities.
Cons: Wish they extend the breakfast from 9am to 10 am
Location: Is in the heart of town, so everything - sightseeing, downtown, art museum, shopping, restaurants are within a walking distance. And of course the oak
Fabulous. Best location in town, bang in heart of town and on Michigan Ave. Right next door to the Bean. The hotel has suite rooms - living room, bedroom, fully equipped kitchenette as well as laundry machine. Its like staying in a one bedroom apartment. Very comfortable. Will always stay here. The staff is very friendly. Will recommend to everybody, and is a steal at the price.

Nice hotel - downtown and close to river

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Room was nice, clean. Only issue was when we returned from an event late at night, our room had been cleaned but the bathroom had not been restocked. Not a towel to be found, or any toilet paper. Went to front desk to inquire and was given soap, shampoo and shortly had towels and tp delivered

Great location, small issues

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Location, spacious room, 'complimentary' breakfast.
Cons: Signage for parking. If it's there, I didn't see it driving or walking by. AC too loud ( but effective).
Location: Downtown Chicago. 'nuff said.
Stayed in a 14th floor single queen suite. Very spacious, nice layout. Extremely convenient for downtown access. Two issues: first I didn't see any signage for parking and I nearly got a ticket trying to sort it out. Just pull around the corner to an area across from the Hard Rock Hotel entrance and there is a valet parking service shared with the Hard Rock- your only option for parking. Second, the AC would come on like a jet starting up. Seemed overly loud at night and woke me up once or twice.

Comfortable hotel in convenient location

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Roomy, clean, convenient.
Cons: Fix electric stove burners.
Very roomy comfortable suite close to Millenium Park and shopping on Michigan Ave. It was a little confusing because the valet parking is actually around the corner in front of the Hard Rock Hotel (which was not clear in advance) but once we found it it was fine. Parking was reasonable for Chicago. Everything was nice except burners on electric stove were not seated properly.

Excellent, friendly service.

Posted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: linens, size, location, staff
Cons: hallway smell, sofa bed mattress
Location: We would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for a longer stay. The location is excellent, close to Art Institute, Aquarium, Cloud Gate, river
We stayed at Comfort Suites one night because our other hotel could not extend our stay. The staff was extremely courteous, helpful and friendly. We were able to check in early which was so helpful to us. There was a cheesy odour in the hallways on our floor, which was somewhat unpleasant. Our room was very large with a small kitchen, washer and dryer and a superb view. The pull out sofa was rather uncomfortable but the queen sized bed was lovely. The linens smelled great! No chlorine hotel disinfectant smell! Great to have towels you can dry your face with and enjoy the experience! The breakfast is OK, but is advertised as continental so we expected somewhat less than what we got (cheese omelets, sausage links, bananas, yogurt, waffles, juices, muffins). We would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for a longer stay. The location is excellent, close to Art Institute, Aquarium, Cloud Gate, river tours, etc.

Good downtown location

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff and clean rooms. Close to both the red line and blue line. Many good places to eat close by.
Cons: A few more computers in their business area would help.
Location: Location is close to all the major attractions. You can also hop the bus or subway if you don't like to walk. Purchase the Ventra Card at the subway
Came to Chicago to experience Wrigley Field on its 100th anniversary and to sit out in the bleachers. Took in a lot of what the city had to offer, the Field Museum, Adler Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium, Sky Deck, 360 Chicago. (Best to purchase the CityPASS to visit all of these as it will save you some time in line and $$$.) The hotel was perfect base for all we wanted to do.
