Nice touch for patrons

Posted May 2, 2015
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Exercise room equipment
Location: shopping, eating, and entertainment
The staff provides those who must leave before breakfast with a "Grab and Go" bag with a bottle of water and fruit. That is a very nice personal touch.

Roomy, clean hotel close to ORD but quiet.

Posted Apr 19, 2015
The hotel was far enough from downtown (25 min. w/o major traffic) to be affordable & quiet, but was easy access to the loop into the city. Staff was friendly & extremely helpful, providing printed directions & good advice for all of our dining & sightseeing excursions. The room itself was roomy & comfortable with multiple pillow softness varieties for the beds, flat screens in both the bed room & living room w/dvd, and microwave/fridge. Breakfast was above your standard continental w/hash browns, eggs & sausage as well as waffle maker. Great stay!

Good location for our needs

Posted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: Location. Price.
Cons: Move the electrical socket into the bathroom--not outside the door.
Location: Shop and visit! Big box stores and Oak Brook Shopping Center.
We got there really late but our room had been guaranteed so we had no problem. The front desk clerk was friendly and really good at what he was doing for us. Breakfast was huge--eggs, hash browns, sausages, coffee, waffles, oatmeal, name it! Fresh fruit! Only one little quark and as a result my husband was not happy--electrical outlet was uniquely placed. My desk chair was stained but everything else was spotless and in great order.

Durty pool

Posted Apr 9, 2015
We book this hotel because of the pool. We wanted the kids to enjoy an have fun after visiting Chicago attractions. The pool area looked dirty and the pool water very murky and cloudy. We canceled the reservation.

Minimal parking, easily filled with nowhere to park. Had second floor room opposite te adjoining road and it was the single noisiest room we have ever had. It sounded as though the windows were open. But they weren't. We ha only 5 hr layover, getting in at 1am and checkin took almost 45 min with NO ONE else checking in.

Good value, but manage your expectations

Posted Apr 5, 2015
Pros: rooms and lobby updated and very clean, friendly staff, free parking Cons: other areas badly need updating, located along busy highway, terrible water pressure This hotel is a decent value. However, little problems here or there add up to detract from the overall experience. I found myself wishing for a can of WD-40, as nearly every hinge in the room squealed mightily when its attached door was opened. The televisions in our room were fairly new, but the remotes that control them are awful and the reception was poor. The thermostat is difficult to program, and the HVAC system in the room itself works well but is extremely noisy. The pool doesn't open until 9am. As mentioned previously, the water pressure in the shower is poor enough that you might consider a bath instead. If you stay here, request an even-numbered room, as those are the ones that face the rear of the property and away from the high-traffic Roosevelt Road. Skip the free breakfast - it's not terrible but there's other options nearby that are much better, even though you pay.

Nice hotel in Chicago' suburb

Posted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: Facilities, breakfast, price, nice polite and helpful staffs.
Cons: Bathroom does not have exhausted fan, so the odor and steam exited through a ceiling grill very slow. wifi kept dropping frequently
Location: on a busy street with lot of noise. tons of restaurants, takeouts, all kind of foods. liquor & convenience stores nearby sell cheap beers & wines.
The budgeted hotel located on a busy street in the Chicago' suburb. You can find any kind of foods within 5 mile range, Italian, Lebanese, Chinese, Vietnamese...Steak, pho, pasta, falafel etc. We are a family of 4, stayed in the 400 sq ft suite with spacious living area separated from sleeping area with a door. In the living area the is a large desk with 4 extra receptacles for electronics like laptop, cel phone, ipod... two big flat screen TV's, 1 in the living area, the other in the 2 double bed bedroom, and a set of microwave+fridge that would be a big plus for family with kids. Bathroom does not have exhausted fan, so the odor and steam exited through a ceiling grill and I guessed there must be a fan some where above the ceiling. The suite is totally clean, two vanities which is another plus for group boarding. wifi speed is OK but kept dropping so we needed to reconnect frequently. We heard the street noise from 4:00 AM, as the hotel was built too close to the street (Roosevelt Rd is also called Highway 38). Breakfasts were good, staffs are very polite and helpful, they even went on internet search for restaurant/ shopping center lists and printed them out for us. Indoor pool was clean but we did not have enough time to enjoy it. There are vending machines and Icemaker on every floor, computer stations with wifi printer at the lobby that added more points to the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

it was nice to have two rooms - one sleeping area and another living area with TVs in both. Good to have refrigerator, microwave in the room. Nice pool with sauna.
