Nice staff - Outdated hotel

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Staff was very, very nice.
Cons: Needs updating. Badlly.
Employees were nice. Rooms were large. Hotel itself is outdated and kind of sad. It was fine for one night when we were in the room very little.

Nice hotel for price

Posted Aug 9, 2014
Pros: Large room with accommodations of fridge, microwave, and breakfast.
Cons: Our floor could have been cleaner on arrival.
Location: Great location in west suburbs of Chicago with lots to do nearby!
My family stayed here for an out of town funeral. Overall, our stay was good. The rooms were large and the hotel was clean. It is an older hotel but has been updated. The carpet in our room was very dirty, but they shampooed it for us immediately. After that, it was fine and the rest of the room was clean. Our other rooms had cleaner floors and there was no problem. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt that the hotel was very quiet overall. For the price paid, it was a great stay with good accommodations! We would stay here again!

Convenient to everything

Posted Jul 21, 2014
We stayed here because we came back home to bury my mother. Staff was awesome from the start. Room was comfortable and clean, pillows are awesome too.breakfast is ok. Only problem we had was there was a family reunion and a basketball scouting thing going on and some of the ppl for these 2 events were less the appropriate, this does not reflect on the hotel itself or the staff. I would stay here again

Small

The room was a bit stuffy. It's about a 3 star. Maybe 2.8. No frills here.

One night, not more

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Initially they gave me a first floor - facing a main road room, than charged me extra to move to a second floor - rear facing room. Looks and feel old and outdated.

Not bad hotel for the price!

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Hotel is quite old, needs to be renovated. Room was non-smoking but smelled like smoke, got another room but that one smelled even more so we stayed in the first one. Room was dated but clean and well maintained. Bed was comfortable. Walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors next door. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was ok not the best. Would rate this hotel as a 2 star hotel.

Nice hotel, close to Chicago

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Nice place. Very affordable, and only 15 miles or so from Navy Pier. Parking is EXPENSIVE in Chicago, and this hotel has free parking. Nice deal. We were very pleased.
