Nice Hotel

Posted May 19, 2015
Pros: It was clean, friendly staff
Cons: A bigger parking lot
Location: A few Middle Eastern, Indian and Mediterranean restaurants are close by. There was an outlet mall 5 minutes away.
The staff were very friendly when I encountered them. I was out of the hotel majority of the time and only returned during late hours for sleep. It is a little far from the city (30 Minutes). It was great for what I needed it to be.

I liked it a lot. The only problem was that the tub was slightly clogged.

Pros: The hotel itself was nice, quite, and the staff were extremely top notch people!! The business suite fit 5 perfectly.
Cons: POOL area and breakfast area
Location: Location was on Roosevelt rd Chicago....
Hotel was nice.. Breakfast was GOOD. However very busy and cramped... Need a bigger breakfast area. Pool was not so good. Very disappointing!!!!!! Very cloudy water and very boring.. Honestly very ugly area... Kids were extremely disappointed.....

Nice touch for patrons

Posted May 2, 2015
Pros: Location and price
Cons: Exercise room equipment
Location: shopping, eating, and entertainment
The staff provides those who must leave before breakfast with a "Grab and Go" bag with a bottle of water and fruit. That is a very nice personal touch.

Roomy, clean hotel close to ORD but quiet.

Posted Apr 19, 2015
The hotel was far enough from downtown (25 min. w/o major traffic) to be affordable & quiet, but was easy access to the loop into the city. Staff was friendly & extremely helpful, providing printed directions & good advice for all of our dining & sightseeing excursions. The room itself was roomy & comfortable with multiple pillow softness varieties for the beds, flat screens in both the bed room & living room w/dvd, and microwave/fridge. Breakfast was above your standard continental w/hash browns, eggs & sausage as well as waffle maker. Great stay!

Good location for our needs

Posted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: Location. Price.
Cons: Move the electrical socket into the bathroom--not outside the door.
Location: Shop and visit! Big box stores and Oak Brook Shopping Center.
We got there really late but our room had been guaranteed so we had no problem. The front desk clerk was friendly and really good at what he was doing for us. Breakfast was huge--eggs, hash browns, sausages, coffee, waffles, oatmeal, name it! Fresh fruit! Only one little quark and as a result my husband was not happy--electrical outlet was uniquely placed. My desk chair was stained but everything else was spotless and in great order.

Durty pool

Posted Apr 9, 2015
We book this hotel because of the pool. We wanted the kids to enjoy an have fun after visiting Chicago attractions. The pool area looked dirty and the pool water very murky and cloudy. We canceled the reservation.

Minimal parking, easily filled with nowhere to park. Had second floor room opposite te adjoining road and it was the single noisiest room we have ever had. It sounded as though the windows were open. But they weren't. We ha only 5 hr layover, getting in at 1am and checkin took almost 45 min with NO ONE else checking in.

Good value, but manage your expectations

Posted Apr 5, 2015
Pros: rooms and lobby updated and very clean, friendly staff, free parking Cons: other areas badly need updating, located along busy highway, terrible water pressure This hotel is a decent value. However, little problems here or there add up to detract from the overall experience. I found myself wishing for a can of WD-40, as nearly every hinge in the room squealed mightily when its attached door was opened. The televisions in our room were fairly new, but the remotes that control them are awful and the reception was poor. The thermostat is difficult to program, and the HVAC system in the room itself works well but is extremely noisy. The pool doesn't open until 9am. As mentioned previously, the water pressure in the shower is poor enough that you might consider a bath instead. If you stay here, request an even-numbered room, as those are the ones that face the rear of the property and away from the high-traffic Roosevelt Road. Skip the free breakfast - it's not terrible but there's other options nearby that are much better, even though you pay.
