Great hotel, close to all Chicago has to offer.

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Location.
Cons: ---
Location: The location is within easy walking distance to Michigan Ave, and hundreds of shops. Great restaurants close by. Very safe area.
My wife and I stayed for 4 nights on our first trip to Chicago. The hotel was well placed to shops, restaurants and public transport. The staff were friendly & helpful and were always there to help if you needed it. Overall a great experience and would stay there again.

Superb quality hotel

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Very well decorated bedroom. Came complete with bathrobe and slippers. Good quality bathroom accesories.
Cons: We booked a table in the restaurant for a Saturday evening meal and found we were the only people there. The prices were excessive and average quality
Location: Easy walk to Navy Pier and quality shops.
One of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. Very pleasant staff. The hotel offers free coffee in the reception in the morning up to 10am but when we asked at midday we were pleased to say they were happy to supply us, still free of charge.

Location and comfort

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Service is always very good, rooms are clean and well-appointed. Location is excellent.
Cons: Our room had a view of an office building - not special. And parking was expensive at $45.
Location: Great shopping, wonderful restaurants, architectural boat tours in walking distance.
I and a friend spent one night at the Conrad to celebrate a special birthday. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a good sized bathroom. I enjoy staying in this area, since everything we were interested in seeing and doing were either in walking distance or a short cab ride away. Plus, the hotel connects to a shopping mall on Michigan Ave.

Whats with hotels not filling mini-bars anymore??

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: windows crack open, convenient location, bed was good and both a stand up shower and a bathtub.
Cons: filling the mini-bar, speeding up what seemed to be Chicago's slowest elevators
Location: Right on Michigan Ave between the John Hancock Center and the Wrigley building.
Selected hotel due to location. The Conrad was your typical run of the mill corporate hotel with 0 character - but that was expected. What I did not like was that there are no mini-bars in the room. Waking up in the morning and wanting a drink of water took 45 minutes for room service to deliver. Hotel is connected to NorthBridge Mall which is nice and is conveniently located to everything.

Lovely, convent hotel

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Location: Great access to shopping, galleries, restaurants
I chose the Conrad for a single night's stay because it was close to some things I wanted to do and because I've stayed there before for a longer meeting and knew I like it. Also because it was minimally more expensive than several other places in the same area, and the rooms are more spacious and comfortable. Everyone was courteous and friendly. I don't happen to love the lobby decor, but everything else is very nice. Good rooftop outdoor bar, very pleasant, roomy and attractive room, spacious bathroom, immaculate. (Shower was a bit slow draining) Nothing edgy about the place, but everything works well.

Very nice experience. Rooms were not overly large but very comfortable and well appointed. Really like the Bose systems for audio of the TV. Bathrooms were great with terrific water pressure. The outdoor roof top patio was a nice perk.
