The hot breakfast had really good options and was tasty. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The location was central to our family events.

great locationPosted Dec 10, 2014
Location: great location, close to the event that we attended.
It met our needs. We had to leave early so we did not have breakfast at the hotel.

The stay was ok. However, I really upset that the hot tub was out of order. That was the main reason we choose that hotel.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

homey, clean, comfortable hotel w hot bfastPosted Sep 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
we arrived to Zion earlier than check-in time and were able to get into our room 1.5 hours before regular check-in time, which was really nice. our room with a king bed was clean, comfortable, and had standard amenities like properly working AC, good shower water pressure, flatscreen TV, iron, etc. hotel lobby was strikingly homey, in a nice, comforting way. all service (though our interactions were pretty much limited to check in/out) was extremely pleasant. located right next to a Piggly Wiggly and a short drive to the Illinois Beach Resort (where our friends were getting married). we were choosing between staying there and here and are so glad we chose right! also hot breakfast was surprisingly satisfying (plus there's a nice breakfast place down the street too--Emily's Pancakes). we would stay again if we return to Zion!

The only issue we had was that they ran out of breakfast food our second morning.

We opted to stay here instead of Pleasant Praiere and the surrounding were definitely not accommodating to a family. Only fast food restaurants. Rooms were not very clean. Power went out twice the day we were there.

Conveience and locationPosted Aug 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
I got the room for my Brother and his sons. He stated that the room was wonderful and was really impressed with the free breakfast. This was a weekend stay and the hotel was full. In fact it was the last available room. I was told that the room was quiet and the staff made them feel welcome upon arrival. The group enjoyed all the amentities, the pool was very busy and loud, the hot tub was just what they needed after a cold rainy day at Great America.

Country suites said my room reservation stated: GROUP FLOOR AND A". The rest of the reservation should have continued as: HANDICAPPED ROOM IF POSSIBLE. Mom is 88 so toilets too low. Had to use the lobby location.
