“Very Convenient”

I was pleased with Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Gurnee. It is close to the highway; shopping mall; and the surrounding neighborhood is pleasant. The only critic I will give is that the hotel should include Sausage in their breakfast menu.

“Satisfactory”

The location was great for visiting family in the area. Another reason for choosing this hotel was their acceptance of dogs. The maid service left something to be desired.....they never cleaned our room at all. But as we only stayed for 2 nights it wasnt a huge deal.

“Friendly and quick to repond to request!”

We were there the weekend of a cheerleader competition in the area. They were busy little bee's and I had a headache. The staff tried to help, but once I learned were the noise was coming from (I was by the stairs) I was okay. They were excited 5th graders. I understood!

“worse hotel stay ever”

the hotel had issues. the heat and air conditioning didnt work. the best the front desk and management could tell me was to keep unplugging and plugging up the air/heat unit all night. their response after that didnt work was "open up the window" very disappointed

“Well worth the price!”

Close to shopping & six flags. The room was adequate, but the pool was very small compared to the picture online. Continental breakfast was a bonus & very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the price.

“Mission Accomplished”

Walking distance to Great America (almost). Thought I would rather pay for parking at Great America but after paying and then having to park in the very back of the parking lot I think I walking from the hotel was about the same distance. The hotel was nice. Pool was not very big, but adequate. Free cookies in the lobby. Hot breakfast included. On the day we were there they had make your own waffles that were really good. All in all this hotel served the purpose we needed which was two days at Great America with the best nights rest we could get in between.

“will definitely be back”

Close to everything and everyone we needed to be. Ease of arrival off the Interstate, as well as getting back on. Big outlet mall nearby. Close to Lake Michigan, Chicago, Milwaukee. Nice breakfast every morning Most comfortable bed.

“Not fancy, but very nice”

The hotel is nice and the staff is pleasant. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, but I didn't really come for the cuisine. There are several good restaurants within easy walking distance.
