Solid choicePosted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: It was quiet and conveniently located
Cons: Please extend breakfast hours till 10:30 or 11! It's difficult when you have a late flight and are only staying a night.
Location: Great if you have friends or family in Elk Grove Village and surrounding area
We flew into Chicago for a family wedding and spent a night close to future in-laws. Good basic hotel and comfortable

Room was comfortable and clean. Kids swam in pool comfortable temperature. Seemed that everyone in the hotel went to breakfast at the same time. Very crowded, just got coffee.

Emergent Three Night Stay!Posted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: The comfortable bed. A/C, fridge and microwave in room.
Cons: The front desk staff, although friendly, could learn to multitask so not to keep a line of guest waiting. Or there could be more help available.
Location: Elk Grove is beautiful and quiet. But the sights are down town. The commuter train station is close by with all day parking!
We got a room last minute, because the couch at the in-laws was a literal back breaker!! Welcome to the Country Inn!! The room was spacious and comfortable and so was the bed!! I went straight to sleep to make up for four nights of back breaking pain (how did I manage four nights on a horrible couch?!) Heaven!!!! Fresh, soft sheets with down pillows. Made sure to put the "Do not Disturb" sign up before passing out! I could've spent the rest of my trip in bed!! I did venture out and try the pool and hot tub (had to visit the front desk because my card key wouldn't open the facility door & that took longer than desired). Both were nice; but the hot tub must've been broken. Not a single powerful jet working in the hot tub. Breakfast was big!! I tried a waffle, which I had to make myself (never did that before!); thick and delicious, big enough to share with my fiancé!! I'm a picky eater, so no sausages or fried potatoes for me. Since breakfast was included, as well as the amenities overall, not a bad deal for short stay.

Needs an updatePosted Jun 25, 2015
The rooms and hotel need a little updating. Good location but a little to worn.

beautiful motel. great indoor pool and hot tubPosted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: see above
Cons: would like to have access to a refridgerator. none in the room and none available. wish there were 2 queen bed suites
Location: pizza bar right across the street
we stayed for two nights. the breakfast was excellent and was open until 10:30. The pool and hot tub were just the right size and temperature. Beautiful area. Gorgeous lobby. Rooms were average in size but clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice tv.

Elk Grove VillagePosted Jun 18, 2015
Pros: Convenience of location to our destination, accommodating staff.
Location: We didn't get much chance to see anything nearby - just there for a quick business trip.
we were in Elk Grove Village for a business event, flying in from Boston. The hotel was conveniently located to our destination; the staff was friendly, they allowed for an early check-in which was very accommodating. It was a very good hotel, very clean, and we were pleased with the service. Breakfast was excellent; the pool and fitness facilities looked great but we didn't have the chance to actually use them. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and spacious, and we would definitely recommend to others.

nice hotelPosted Jun 16, 2015
Very nice hotel in northwest suburb of Chicago. However there are two main drawbacks which are reflected in cheap price. Firstly, it is far from downtown as you can see on the map. Lastly, there is a event place right next to the hotel , so sometimes expect noise until 11 pm from there. Otherwise nice breakfast and pool and jacuzzi.
