“Don't Bother with this Hotel!”

Very poor ..... heck, they didn't even have HBO! That's pretty bad in today's world!

“I stay here whenever I can”

This is my favorite hotel in Chicago. I have paid a lot more for a hotel, and then there is no free internet and no breakfast included, and no pool or exercise room. This place has all of those things, and it is close to the airport and all my customers. And they have hot cookies every night. Nice touch.

“Stranded traveler, served the purpose of overnighting, a bit far from ORD”

Stayed here while I was stranded at ORD. Room was clean, hotel could use a bit of a face lift inside, but for one night it was fine, safe, and clean.

“an OK place to stay”

The free shuttle service only operates from 4pm, so we had to pay for our taxi to the hotel ($18). Aside from this problem it was an OK place to stay. Very nice staff, and very helpful with directions. Free shuttle (within set times) provided also to train station which meant we could get into Chicago, and were picked up when we returned. Poor lighting in bedroom but extra light provided after our request, all clean and comforatble..

“Clean and close to O'Hare”

Friendly staff. Hotel was clean, pool is small but well kept. Planes were flying over constantly and we never heard them when inside.

“Not impressed”

The hotel was not located in a very convenient location. It was a 20 minute shuttle to O'Hare (which was difficult- it had to be scheduled in advanced and only on the hour for it didn't run continuously) and from O'Hare it was an hour ride by the CTA trains to the city. One of the beds was dirty when we arrived. The hotel was under serious constuction when we got there, our room number was taped on and we didn't have floor boards. We won't be returning and if we had to it would be to the Country Inn located on the north side of O'Hare- much better costumer service and much nicer condition.

“Loved it!”

We stayed here because it was close to O'Hare...it is close, but not too close, so it is not noisy. A nice, quiet location but close to restaurants. We absolutely loved it! The staff were knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The hotel was very clean. Wonderful full hot breakfast. Full lineup of cable channels, not just basic cable. Pool area nice...the kids enjoyed it!

“Good value”

We enjoyed our stay much. The hotel was clean, quiet despite being labeled as an O'Hare hotel, and in a safe neighborhood. The pool was a nice diversion for the kids.

Area recommendations

Eat at Portillo's restaurant on North Avenue for the world's best hot dogs, hamburgers and Italian beef.

“Secret Gem in Benesnville”

My husband and I stayed at Country Inn & Suites durng the Christmas holidays. We truly were impressed with the cleanliness, the location, the affordability, and the courteous demeanor of the night management. We would like to thank Country Inn & Suites for making our travel enjoyabe.
