“Dirty Socks and Awful Static Electricity Shocks”
Three major negative issues about my stay: 1. There was a dirty sock on the floor of my room (obviously from a previous guest). TO me this calls into question how well they actually clean the room. 2. The room was so dry that the static shocks received from adjusting the comforter and sheets were unbearable. 3. There was no channel guide anywhere to be found in the room. A little issue but a major inconvenience.
“Rude and bad management and horrible internet connection.”
We were out of our hotel room all day. We came back pretty late at night (2am) and did not notice that they had left a paper about shutting the water in the morning on our desk, (Cannot you tape it to front of door so people know?). We were suppose to check out at 11am and when we wake up at 10, it turns out they have shut the water off. We call front desk and they say it will be fixed at 1, so we wasted two hours waiting for water. At 1 the front desk claims they said 1 OR 2. and at 2 still no water. At 2 we talk to manager and she says water will be on in few mins . She says it is act of nature but she also tells us the they had the maintenance scheduled from two days before. Why cannot they schedule it at a better time? LIke after people check out (12 pm) or best of all during night time when people are sleeping? Manager was extremely rude and said she did not have to deal with our concern. Finally at 230 when water comes and while I am taking the shower, The water gets shut off again. We realize things happen and everything cannot be controlled but this was of course bad planning from the start, and on top of that blaming the client. I would have put more water in people's room, would have done a better job of informing them and planned better service interruption time. & on top of that be nice to customers. Also i called before booking to ask about internet they said they just upgraded internet but there was no wifi and wired cable was extremely slow.
