“We would stay here again”

“The BEST place to stay when attending Navy Graduation!!!”

Arrived late Thursday eve before my son's graduation from the US NAVY RTC. The front desk personnel were amazing. The manager greeted us and explaned everything to expect during the ceremony, advised us on the shuttle service available to the RTC (very inexpensive, i think it was $6.00 round trip). We had a rental car, and she explained to us the lines can be long, you have to arrive early to get through security, so the shuttle may be the best option for you. She also informed us of what my son may experience during his liberty, he could be tired and just want to sleep, he may want to take a long hot shower, he may want a favorite food, etc. She was available to answer any questions, refer us to a restaurant or any other venue he may want to attend. I loved the visit, i am scared of traveling and being in unfamiliar surroundings - they made my travels calm and comfortable. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I know it was a little more expensive that the other surrounding hotels, it was worth the money. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE ATTENDING GRADS AT RTC! Clean, quiet, pristine rooms - looked like new. Thank you Courtyard by Marriott!

didn't visit many areas, but we did eat at Buffalo Wild Wings and it was great! there is a wal-mart just a few blocks down if you forgot to pack something like i did (pajamas).

“Really enjoyable!”

Although, Waukegan is a ways away from the airport, it was really convenient for me and right by the Naval base; there were great surrounding restaurants and I really enjoyed the hotel overall.

“Not impressed”

Hotel was under renovation and fire alarm went off at 2:10 am due to maintenance issues with the elevator. Hotel was not safe to return into until 3:45 am . We were given an written apology.

“Fair hotel close to naval station”

A bit more expensive than some other local hotels, so presummably cleaner, but missing some features of hotels of similar price in other cities.locations. For example, no bar, no restaurant, no free continental breakfast. Even the free coffee did not offer real creme! Still, location, location, location and fundamentally clean.
