Just one night

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Easy to get to-CLEAN-good bed!
Cons: Mat in tub-Frig in room. Cabinet space was there-but it looked like it had been taken out.
Location: Visiting family-I used to live in the area.
I only spent the night. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I did find out that they have 4 Handicapped rooms where they have a doorbell-lights flash on and off-if someone would like to contact you. Since I have cochlear implants-and I don't hear during the night when they are off-this would be a real bonus.

Getaway from the neighbors

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Hot water, quiet surroundings, convenient food, and no wakeup call or urges to check out by the staff.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
After a few weekends of working around the yard, and listening to all the advice my neighbors have to offer. I needed some alone time to recharge my batteries, since I cannot escape to work and hide out, I hid at this hotel. I know I have a number of choices to stay, but this location offered, quiet, convenient food in the Bistro, and knowing staff who was aware (by my tired look) to give me so peace. I read my book and some magazines I bought with me, with ESPN playing in the background. Overall I enjoyed my stay, and would come back to hide out again.

Clean & Comfortable

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Visiting from out of town for 3 days, we chose this because it looked like a clean & comfortable place, and it definitely was. If you are planning to spend most of your time in downtown Chicago then this is bit of a drive, but we knew that ahead of time and chose it anyway to stay within our budget. Check-in was pretty quick and hassle free. Although we did not use any of the "services" available in the lobby, we could see there were computers, chairs, desks and a place to eat / drink. There was also a DIY snack shop and a microwave available 24x7 right next to the front desk. The pool was a bit small, when we saw a family of 4 in there, we realized there wasn't much room for us to get in there and have our space ... so we didn't. There was a nice garden with room to walk around or lounge. The room itself was clean and functional with 2 queen beds, a nice desk & chair and enough space to store our belongings. Did not have much interaction with the hotel staff but whatever interaction there was, it was nice. The hotel is on a relatively quiet street close to the freeway but there were all kinds of places to eat & shop within a mile.

We were traveling without a hotel reservation made in advance . We came across this hotel on expedia. It was a hidden gem. Wouldn't have just seen it from the main road, thank goodness for the expedia listing. The rankings were accurate! Clean and helpful staff. Needs continental breakfast though. Would definitely stay again!

Really Not That Hard To Get To Downtown Chicago

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Refrig in the room and the courtyard area
Just didn't want to stay downtown! We also knew a little drive in to and from the downtown area would be relaxing and our hotel location gave us a chance to go for evening walks (safely, quietly).

Modern hotel conveniently located

Posted Jun 18, 2014
Pros: It was modern and clean with a sort of European flavor.
Cons: The restaurant was a little weird.
Location: It was conveniently located for my business purposes.
Really nice, recently renovated in an unusual but modern motif. the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
