Best Place to Stay near Midway

Pros: The staff members are courteous and very helpful; they exceed expectations.
Midway Courtyard makes travelling through Midway Airport much easier. The room is clean and comfortable, the staff is available late evening and very early morning, and food service accommodates travel schedules.

We booked this room while waiting on the tarmac at MDW during New Years storm...Needed a room for my wife, 5 mo. old and 3 yr old! Courtyard did not disappoint, Granted, we would have stayed just about anywhere but the service was welcoming and accomodating. Even gave us toiletries, which is a rarity these days. Would book again without hesitation if needing a room at the airport.

Emergenacy stay

We were stranded at Midway on Jan 2nd and fortunately had a decent place to stay the night. I thought with taxes etc. it was a bit more expensive than I thought it would be.

All of the Midway hotels aren't in the greatest area. For the price, the courtyard didnt have nice rooms, and also charged for parking.

I think you will find our prices very competitive with all of the hotels located within 10 miles of us and certainly when compared to Downtown proper. The Front Desk staff is one of the friendliest and most helpful of any of the 10+ hotels I've stayed at in the past five years. I would return for that alone. I gave the room comfort a 3 because of the double size beds. They are too small for two adults.

typical Courtyard

I like the Courtyard hotels. There's conveniences such as the kiosk. This one is connected to a TGIF Fridays, so food is available there. I like the coffee bar. The bed, however, is too hard and I didn't sleep as well as I'd like.

Easy and close to the airport

Pros: Ease to the airport, free wifi
To my surprise - this hotel is part of a larger property of Marriot hotels. A shuttle runs to the airport (Midway) every 20 minutes. We took the shuttle and caught the orange line to the city every day, very easy. Our room was nice and fit our needs. There is an indoor pool and a TGIF on at this hotel and a Coaches at the hotel across the parking lot.
