“Best Kept Secret!!!”

This hotel is great if you really do not want to stay in the heart of the city but still have character of the surrounding area of Greektown. We did ALOT of walking and really enjoyed ourselves. Love that supermarket and a Walgreens are right within half block as well. Really enjoyed our experience and even walked from train station to this hotel.

“Good for Business”

Perfect for a business trip to UIC. Is 4 blocks from the Blue line metro station which connects to O'Hare with no transfers (for $2.25 each way). Room was large with all furnishings much better than average. The hotel gym was well equipped. Bar and restaurant were open and accomodating. The hotel is in Greek-town which was also quite entertaining. What more could one want?

“Not to far from downtown”

I figured the reason the Crowne Plaza was so much cheaper than hotels in the downtown area was that it was far away. Not true at all. It is a 10 minute walk to the Willis (Sears) Tower, and that puts you pretty much in the heart of the city. Two very convenient bus routes are right in front of the hotel. The room was nice, and the shower head was perhaps the best I've used in a hotel. If you want to use a pool, they give you free passes to a health club in an apartment building two blocks away. Works for me.

“Clean and comfy”

I had low expectations since I couldn't find a decent priced room near Michigan Ave, but I have to say this place isn't bad. Location isn't great but it's very close to get other places. Renovated, clean, and very modern fixtures. It was much more stylish than expected. I read a lot about noise, but I was on the 17th floor closer to Halsted than the expressway so I didn't hear anything. If you can deal with cabbing it to places (or taking a bus) and are looking for a clean/decent place, then I recommend this place. And you can't beat the price compared to other hotels downtown.

“Awesome Hotel”

This was a perfect pick for a hotel. Super clean and comfortable, great staff, location, just everything about this hotel was perfect. There is a bus stop right outside the building, and plenty of parking on site. We had a balcony and could see the the city sparkle at night. This is in Greek Town with plenty to see and do in the evenings. Great choice!

“Impressed. Will stay there again”

I was there for a conference at the Mccormick Convention center. Easy taxi ride to the convention at abt $12 per trip. I still saved tons of money compared to the hotels closer to the center. This hotel is close to the Sears tower and walking distance to a great pizza place. All other attractions are a short taxi trip also at about $12. The hotel was clean and comfortable, recently updated. I was impressed especially for the price. Highly recommend and would stay there again

“Good Value in Hear of Greektown”

Hotel is in good condition and service was more than acceptable. Proximity to Greektown a plus. The property is also centrally located in the city with easy access to a myriad of points of interest.
