The hotel is beautiful! The front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating. The room was beautiful with the giant windows..HOWEVER, the valley staff are very passive aggressive. They have visibly annoyed/unfriendly attitudes. One of the guys asked my fiancé multiple times if we were going back outside. As we were trying to thinking and talking, he was rushing us visibly irritated because he was on a phone call and we were disturbing him. I could understand if there was a rush or it was busy.. there was no one else there. Additionally, when we did try to ask him for assistance, he was again passive whiling being on a FaceTime call. The doorman and security were also pretty passive. On another note, there was another Hispanic younger guys doing Vallet. He was extremely friendly. Not only that, we noticed he was running to hold the door for the ladies. He would help people carry their bags and load the cars. Everyone was so thankful for him tipping him and complimenting him. All while security and doorman watched him. Doorman should be helping hold the door, pack the cars(if applicable), and bring bags inside. The poor guy is running all around during Easter morning and the night previous (there was a rush due to a concert) while the security and doorman criticized him. The hotel is great but the workplace environment is terrible and I can’t give 5stars for that. Hope the guy hits the jackpot somewhere else.
