“Excellent Hotel.”

This hotel is centrally located close to the Magnificent Mile and was good value. It had free wifi internet which was a godsend given the travel chaos as a result of the ash cloud, a stylish bar(s) and spa facilities (that I did not try). I would thoroughly recommend it.

“Great Find”

Dana is a block away from the subway, has a fabulous breakfast, the rooms are gorgeous, and the staff is lovely. A true find in the heart of everything you'll want in Chicago.

“Great hotel in a great location”

The room was good sized and very hip. We loved the ipod doc sound system and the glass walled shower. The rooms aren't very sound proof but other than that it was perfect

“Dana Hotel and Spa”

The Dana was far nicer than I had anticipated, was perfectly located in the middle of everything you want to see in Chicago. The staff was fantastic and the rooms were very comfortable. If I go back to Chicago, I would have a hard time not utilizing their services.

“Perfect hotel for a spa get-away with my daughter!”

My daughter & I were looking for a hotel with a spa and close to shopping and found the Dana Hotel online. You never know how internet bookings will go, but we were pleasantly suprised at how perfect the Dana was!! And to top it off the sushi bar was fantastic!! Very nice, modern, clean rooms with extremely comfortable beds. Great spa experience. It was perfect for what we wanted!

“A Very New, Hip, and Young Hotel”

The Dana Hotel just opened in July 2008. They still have some kinks to work out but it is a hip, new, and young hotel (think W Hotels). The free continental breakfast was really good and a nice touch. I had a corner room which was totally glass on two sides. It was really cool looking for a little loud at night. The top floor is a bar (Vertigo) and it was HOPPING. Saturday night there was a line around the block to get into the bar via the outside elevator (guests can ride the inside elevators up). I like that it is a couple of blocks off Michigan but still an easy walk to all the shopping. I loved the place but if you're looking for a QUIET stay and you're a little on the reserved side - this might not be a good choice for you.

“Enjoyed my stay”

This was my first time at this very unique hotel. It was like stepping into Scandinavia for a little bit. I liked my room, but it might have been a little crowded if my wife had joined me for the three days. The bed and pillows were wonderful and the shower was fabulous. I had good desk space for working. The staff were gracious. The free internet access and vouchers for made to order breakfast was a real plus. The Expedia deal for this hotel and flight made this an excellent adventure.

“BEAUTIFUL HOTEL”

this hotel was so great! it's super new and the staff is incredibly helpful. the room was amazing! floor to ceiling windows, hardwood floors, flat screen tvs, turn down service, super comfy beds- this hotel really has it all! the sushi restaurant downstairs is great too~ my only complaint is that the workout room is super tiny and doesn't have enough equipment- only two treadmills, two bikes and an elliptical. overall though, i LOVED this hotel and can't wait to come back!
