“Central to Downtown life”

Great Hotel in a great location. The snacks and fridge stock were superb as were the toiletries in the bathroom and the bedding.

“Exceptional hotel with soul, Expedia well welcomed”

chose this hotel for several reasons; its online ranking, location, and being an Expedia elite hotel to use my Expedia Elite Card, with its promised upgrades etc upon check-in. Reserved a regular room, and unfortunately (or fortunately!), the usual upgrade which is the scenic "corner room" was not available upon check-in for my entire stay which would last a week. After some search, I was told that a corner room might be available in the following morning to be checked with reception. I stayed the first night in the very small but comfortable comfy king room, and in the following morning, reception staff did not have the info, and no corner rooms available. I asked about other possibilities, and was offered a suite room upgrade with some extra per night. When the manager got notice of my expedia elite card, that was almost waived. The comfy king is a real comfortable sleep, but totally uncomfortable if you intend any long stay because of its relative very small area. On the contrary, the suite room upgrade has exceptional space and views through balconies and not directly through room windows. I believe the suite room is worth each penny for any prolonged stay. Did not use the spa because of unavailable suitable appointments during my stay. Free wi-fi is a welcome asset

“ASBOLUTE MUST”

Best Hotel in Chicago. Hands Down. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Rooftop Lounge was superb - especially if you're looking for a late night party. Room Service was quick, affordable, and tasty

“Stay cation in style”

The room was very cleverly laid out. Who knew there was a party shower? And our very own balcony. We felt very special the entire time. The staff was warm and professional. Location was central to everything and the vertigo bar was a treat.

“Great city views!”

My boyfriend and I had a great experience with the Dana Hotel and Spa. The staff was super friendly and informative. Great location, only one block away from The Magnificent Mile and a short walk to the subway. We booked a corner king (totally worth the extra money). As luck would have it, we were given the 25th floor. The only floor higher than us was the lounge (Vertigo) on the 26th floor! The staff did warn us that it may be somewhat noisy until the lounge closes but we didn't notice it. We took the room for the views and views it gave us! Two of the walls are floor to ceiling windows! Lacks privacy because of the floor to ceiling windows, but that's the price you pay for great views. You can pull down the shades but that defeats the whole purpose now, doesn't it.

“A great place to stay”

I really loved staying at the Dana. The location was wonderful, close to a metro entrance, easy to find and close to shopping. The staff was super friendly and answered all my questions and gave me suggestions when I asked. The room was pretty cool and modern-looking. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

“It's all about the views”

Loved almost everything about this hotel. Checking in and out was a breeze. All of the employees we had contact with were helpful and friendly. A special thanks to T.J. the doorman who made our trip extra nice from the moment we arrived. Corner king room was fantastic with a view to die for. Only downside would be the arrangement of the tv and dresser/desk which blocked some of the outstanding city cites. Overall I would highly recommend the Dana to all.
