Friendly Staffs. Want Shuttle Bus if possible!Posted Nov 19, 2014
Pros: Nice, quiet surroundings.
Cons: shuttle bus service.
It is situated 20 minutes by car from Chicago O'Hare Airport. Good place for business since it's located just near offices in Wood Dale. I thought facility was not that new, but the room was clean and comfortable. People are very friendly. I also liked the complimentary chocolate cookie. Oh, and free WiFi was good, too. City Cab at the airport is for downtown, and you will be charged 50% to the fare for this hotel. Therefore, you would want to reserve the suburban taxi beforehand. (it was $22 flat rate + tip). I would strongly recommend the hotel to consider the Shuttle Bus service from the airport, as Double Tree at Arlington Heights does.

Nice building, rotten locationPosted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: Service was great
The service was fantastic! The building is a little older but maintained really well. The major issue I have is the location. Nothing is really close.

Be sure to bring your earplugs...Posted Sep 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
While I was happy with the delicious cookie I received upon check-in, my happiness subsided when I tried to go to sleep and couldn't because of the airplanes overhead. I know, I know, the hotel is near the airport. Well, I've stayed in other hotels near airports before - this was different. Every time the very loud planes flew over, the hotel shook! To make matters worse, when I called to the front desk to ask if they had any earplugs they said no ;(. Just thinking this might be something they should have on hand for others in the future. Other than that, my stay was okay. Nothing special. Just okay.

Excellent Staff!Posted Sep 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
Went with six friends on an overnight girls trip to see a concert. Due to the previous night's full bookings, we were not able to check in early and have rooms next to each other. But since we needed the extra time to get ready after a five hour drive, the staff was kind enough to upgrade us to suites next door to each other with no extra charge to accommodate our needs. (I cannot remember her name) but the younger woman working the desk was beyond courteous, accommodating and welcoming. We were grateful to receive such wonderful service as we all looked extra fantastic in our pics (since we had a little extra time to get ready, ha) Thanks Double Tree- I am always impressed with your service. The rooms were clean and the suites were plenty large enough for 4 gals and LOTS of beauty products.

DecentPosted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: The beds were very comfortable!
Cons: The condition of the tiling in the bathroom could be improved.
This hotel was further than we originally thought. Expedia's website stated that they had a complimentary airport shuttle and that the shuttle would also take guests to areas nearby the hotel within a 5 mile radius. This was one of deciding factors for us choosing this hotel. When we arrived and called the hotel, they informed us that they did NOT have an airport shuttle. We had to spend an extra $25 for a cab each way from O'Hare to the hotel. Also, the heavy curtains did not actually cover the windows. So, by sunrise, there was already more light than we cared for coming into the room.
