3 Nights in ChicagoPosted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: Location, Friendliness, Breakfast.
Cons: We were happy with everything
Location: We booked for the location so that we could go to Navy Pier and also to get on the Hop On Hop Off bus.
We booked 3 rooms at Embassy Suites for 3 nights as our family was with us on our visit to Chicago. All of us were very pleased with our rooms, the great breakfast, and the Happy Hour. It was in a good position, close to Navy Pier. Very good for families.

Nice place, great view and great locationPosted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Great breakfast and apparently great happy hour
Cons: The fitness room is too small for such a big hotel
Location: Heart of Chicago on the river. Close to everything downtown
We were only there for 10-12 hours. We slept, worked out, ate breakfast and left.

Close to a lot that Chicago has to offerPosted Jul 22, 2014
Cons: Would have liked a full-view mirror somewhere in the room; also an exhaust fan in the bathroom.
This hotel is in a great location but there were a lot of unaccompanied children wandering throughout the halls and public areas. As a result, the manager's reception and breakfast were not too enjoyable for these two empty nesters. Would have enjoyed something a little quieter and more relaxing. The reason I would not recommend this hotel to friends is because they would also be looking for something more relaxing. If you are traveling with children, this may not be an issue for you. Staff was attentive.

Great StayPosted Jul 22, 2014
The staff was very friendly. The hotel is nice. The only negative was the housekeeping. We had to ask for extra wash clothes - we only received 2 of them even though we had 3 people staying in the room, only one body soap, no shower caps and the one of the TV remotes did not work. We had to call maintenance to fix it. We loved the complimentary breakfast and manager's reception. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Very Nice HotelPosted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: The corner suite had great views and of course the breakfast was great.
Cons: Keep an eye on your front desk staff.
Location: Walking distance from Navy Pier as well as Michigan Ave.
We had a great time staying at this Embassy Suites however the check in did not go so well. We arrived at 3pm only to be told that our room was not ready due to so many activities in the area the rooms were booked up. We were told that we would have to wait for our room but would not be given a general time frame. After waiting approx. 30 minutes the reservation's clerk that assisted us had left, we went back to the desk and our room was ready and was told that it had been ready for some time. We waited right across from the desk in the waiting area. The original clerk stated that she would get us when our room was ready. I guess she forgot.

Great place and location for a family. I say that primarily because of suites, pool and the convenience of the full breakfast and the managers reception. Unfortunately some of the staff were not as accommodating. Concierge was not very knowledgeable of family friendly dining places
