Pros: Look-warm water in the pool, nice breakfast and supper, very nicely decorated - feels like Hawaii.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Lego discovery center, mall, medieval castle, Jelly Belly factory.
Just great for families with kids, nice atmosphere.

Comfortable hotel with a nice breakfast

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: Comfort of bed and great breakfast.
Cons: Noise from air conditioner.
We had a great time here and enjoyed our stay. Had an issue with the tub being dirty and had it corrected. Overall nice rooms but a bit tight in areas.

AWESOME FIRST VISIT TO CHICAGO

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: The cleanliness was superb, the staff was great and friendly, and the scene was beautiful. The food was also excellent--- loved the omelets :)
Cons: During breakfast the cook who made our omelets was short tempered and a bit rude. Seemed like he didn't want to be at work-- but his food was great.
Location: Pitchfork Music Festival was our destination and it was Amazing-- great food/ music/ and craft vendors!
My family visited Chicago for Pitchfork Music Fest and stayed at this hotel for the first night-- we absolutely LOVED IT -- my kids wanted to stay at the hotel the whole time-- they felt extremely comfortable. We arrived at the perfect time for drinks and enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet. Then ended our stay with a swim in the pool before we checked out. We also had a chance to wash a load of clothes before we headed to our camp spot.

Non smoking room smell like smoke

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: breakfast
Cons: please if we book non-smoking room, then please give us room that does not smell like someone smoke 100 packs in it.
Location: we got sick so we decided to just got back
I booked king suite non smoking, but it smell like smoke, my husband could not sleep because it was hard to breath and the air was so stuffy. I was about to call the lobby but we already unpacked and we only need one night rest so we decided not to. On the plus side, we really like the breakfast and the stuff was ok. I am not sure if I recommend this hotel to anyone, because it was really hard to breathe in that room, and the following day we end up feeling so bad because we could not sleep well. I hope they fix the room or the ventilation, the smoke smell are really so bad.

A pleasant overnight experience. Breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 am.....by 9:30 am things were pretty well picked over....no silverware, no fruit, few condiments.... but made to order omelets were great.
