nice but outdated

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: what little breakfast i had was good. the bed was comfy and the room was clean
Cons: more staff when the hotel is busy. i think a lot of the mess of it could have been avoided with more staff that were stern with wild guests.
The entrance of the hotel is nice with the greenery area but the rooms themselves were outdated with furniture. The bed was comfy though. The breakfast i believe would have been better if the staff would have been keeping up with everyone. There must have been some kind of tournament and the kids were running rampant thru the hotel. None of the staff seemed to care about this problem at all. never got to the pool area because again it was over run by kids with little manners.

Comfortable hotel with a nice breakfast

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: Comfort of bed and great breakfast.
Cons: Noise from air conditioner.
We had a great time here and enjoyed our stay. Had an issue with the tub being dirty and had it corrected. Overall nice rooms but a bit tight in areas.

AWESOME FIRST VISIT TO CHICAGO

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: The cleanliness was superb, the staff was great and friendly, and the scene was beautiful. The food was also excellent--- loved the omelets :)
Cons: During breakfast the cook who made our omelets was short tempered and a bit rude. Seemed like he didn't want to be at work-- but his food was great.
Location: Pitchfork Music Festival was our destination and it was Amazing-- great food/ music/ and craft vendors!
My family visited Chicago for Pitchfork Music Fest and stayed at this hotel for the first night-- we absolutely LOVED IT -- my kids wanted to stay at the hotel the whole time-- they felt extremely comfortable. We arrived at the perfect time for drinks and enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet. Then ended our stay with a swim in the pool before we checked out. We also had a chance to wash a load of clothes before we headed to our camp spot.
