Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful, comfortable rooms and always love the free breakfast.
Location: Just a block of so from Michigan Avenue. We walked to Grant Park, with many restaurants, shopping and great people watching in between.
This hotel is a agreat location: withing walking of music festival at Grant Park and wonderful shopping on Michigan Avenue. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again!

Pros: Location is walking distance to the Millenium Park, Navy Pier and to the busses that goes to other tourist attractions.
Cons: Maybe soundproofing the building as we can hear the siren from the ambulance and fire truck every now and then.
Location: There's a lot of restaurants and stores nearby.
It's nice and clean, the staffs are friendly and helpful.

Great hotel for the price in a fantastic location.

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Location, friendly staff.
Cons: Not much for the price to be honest.
Location: Magnificent mile and just about everything is walk able or cabbable.
The room was pleasant, staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything was going well for us as part of our stay, and the location seriously cannot be beaten.

We appreciate your comments about the hotel. We acknowledge that we have 4 room types with various sizes. Our largest room is a suite with a king bed and pull out sofa sleeper, 330 sq. feet. I would suggest this room type next time you stay with us. It is a traveler favorite.

Great location - pretty decent hotel

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: The location, proximity to great resto's, staff, the included breakfast
Cons: The room. Some features were obviously updated, but the bathroom area showed signs of age.
Location: Resto's including Local Root, Epic Burger, etc. There's a great nail salon a couple blocks walk called Polish & Pour (BYOB nail salon? great!).
The location is wonderful. Just a block+ off the Magnificent Mile, and affordable, you couldn't ask for better. There are several great restaurants within a 5 minute walk (Local Root, Epic Burger, etc.), which means you can easily find something for everyone to eat. The room was decent. Nothing wrong specifically, just noticeably older in some respects. It was clean, the bed was comfy, but it lacked a certain 'home like' quality I've found at other Marriott properties. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to others. For the price, it's a great value. The staff was extremely pleasant, the included breakfast was wonderful (make your own waffles!), the location was outstanding - overall a great experience.
