Awesome location. Very posh area

This hotel is just amazing for the price we paid. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Chicago, where all the expensives stores are. The room was pretty big and clean. Very decent breakfast with coffee, juice, baggles, pancakes, fruit etc The "only problem" was that my room was a bit noisy. Totally recommended!

Nice experience

Nice staff and good breakfast options. The rooms are small but cozy... sometimes the noise of the heating system can be heard, but is not a big deal.

Great hotel, great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. The room was clean and newly redecorated with hardwood floors. The employees were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great (scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, waffles, fruit, yogurt, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, etc.) The location on the Magnificent Mile was perfect.

weekend to relax +

Pros: The cleanliness of the rooms and the great breakfast variety.
Cons: The remote to the TV, was not the best. Could turn on and off and raise and lower the volume, but changing the channels had to be done manully.
Location: Good location to catch a cab or bus .
My significant other and myself have been together for seventeen years now and wanted to spend the time in Chicago. This was the ideal location and easy for us to get the bus when needed. The hotel was great, service and staff couldn't be any nicer. Would go back in a heart beat.

Last minute booking. They were still working on the hotel I believe but there wasn't any noise or mess. Well maintained, clean, and very friendly, helpful staff.

Great stay!

Pros: The location is Great! Rooms are very comfortable.
My husband and I stayed in one of the renovated rooms. They are beautifully redone. I especially like the tiled floors. The staff were all very helpful and the breakfast was good and plentiful.

Very nice but computer glitch spoiled our stay.

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Newly renovated, crisp clean look
Cons: Room comfort score was based on second room first room would have been a 5 had we stayed there and it been a double
Location: Excellent location walking distance from Magnificent Mile. Great Pizza place right across street, Walgreen's 5 blocks. Taxi's easy to get.
Loved the newly renovated room and wished we could have stayed in it the entire stay. Unfortunatetly it was too small. we registered for 2 double beds and were given a single room. I had a friend stay one night due to gymnastics meet early next morning which was why I asked for 2 doubles. Both my confirmation and my print out when I paid for room said double room however the agent said the system had us in for a king room, so here was some glitch. We asked to be moved. Hotel was fully booked so we ended up in a handicap room with a rollaway bed. This room was definitely in need of upgrade and smelled like old urine. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful otherwise.

A gem of a hotel!

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: Stylistically, it very mod and cool.
Location: Shopping, restaurants, Garrett's popcorn, cafes, taverns, nightlife, junk food for midnight cravings, everything!
This hotel is in a perfect location to access all that Chicago has to offer. It's close to shopping, restaurants, taverns, and POPCORN (Garrett's is across the street.)! The hotel was undergoing construction when we were there so the condition right now is in flux. Our room was awesome, it was newly decorated in a modern style that was very cool. Our friends were in the older part of the hotel and they were jealous of our room! The staff was very friendly, every person you passed in the hallway, lobby, etc acknowledged you - saying "hi" or "welcome back" , etc. I never opened a door the whole weekend, - there was always two people opening the lobby doors. Breakfast was good for continental style. Our whole group (12 altogether) had a fantastic experience here. Would love to go back!
