“Can't wait to go back”

Staff was very nice! Rooms were beautiful ,they sell you tickets to six flags for only 35 dollars ,you can walk to six flags it's like 10 min away and save the 20 dollars on parking!! :) breakfast is free . I loved it :)

“Best night's sleep”

The hotel although being in a busy area of town was quite quiet. I got a good night's sleep and they offered voutcher's for the gym next door as well as discounted rates at a nearby restaurant. The staff was really friendly.

“Perfect for Great America!”

Everything was great! The hotel was clean and staff were extremely friendly, accomodating and helpful. Breakfast was good, too! It was also very convenient to Great America which is why we chose to stay there. We were travelling with our 4-month old twins and a 6 year-old, so our room was a bit tight, but that's not the fault of the hotel! Also, it was awesome to have hot water available in the lobby all the time for making baby bottles!!

When to go

We stayed there the first week of August in order to go to Great America. Turns out the first week of August is THE busiest week of the year for Great America. I would suggest going another time in less you enjoy waiting in line 1-2 hours for each ride and for lunch as well!!

“I would return again”

This hotel was clean, staff was friendly. Do not try and check in early though. We tried to check in about 1:30 pm and we were told no we had to wait until 3 pm, I could not understand this because it is not like Gurnee, IL is a hotspot.

Area recommendations

I would not eat at Joe's Crab Shack very slow wait staff and very expensive. Get dinner before 10:00 pm otherwise all is closed, not used to that.

“Great Stay”

This hotel met and erxceeded our expectations and needs. We travelled to Gurnee for our son's wedding. The Hampton Inn was a perfect homebase. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Clean. The beds are rediculously comfortable! Convenient location off the highway and lots of dining and shopping options near by, many in walking distance.

“The breakfast brought us back!!!!!!”

We have stayed at this Hampton Inn about 10 times and have never been dissapointed. We usually travel from StLouis twice a year 1summer & 1fall trip for the SIX FLAGS in Gurnee. Out of all the hotels around that area to choose from and there are many.............this one stands out. The rooms and bedding are so clean and comfortable right down to the towels that feel brand new every time. The free breakfast is so broad in its variety that it never fails to satisfy all of my family (three teenagers) two adults. Love Love Love the beds. The desk clerk even hooked us up with her favorite pizza place that was just outstanding. If I had to sum up the staff including the maids and the guy cooking breakfast by hisself .............................. Total professionals!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!

Area recommendations

Gurnee Six flags is premium if you have never been, please try it once. The mills mall across the highway is also very stunning.

Definately take advantage of this Hampton Inn and their free breakfast. They offer three kinds of coffee, scrambled eggs, bisquits and gravy, bagels,waffles, all juices, teas, and milk. Five kinds of cereal. Fresh fruit. Yogurt, donuts, muffins. It is amazing enough even if your kids are picky and mine are, there is something for everyone. You can't beat the price.

“Not bad”

For doing a weekend getaway the hotel was perfect. It is a mile from Great America and there were a few places to eat that were walking distance. I will stay there everytime we go to G.A.
