“Awesome place to stay!”

The person at the front desk was very friendly to us when we arrived and they were all very nice all the way to the person serving breakfast. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was also very quiet in the hallways at night for sleeping. We would definitely stay here again.

“Frightfest happy ending”

We stayed Friday Saturday and Sunday for frightfest at 6 Flags and LOVED staying at the Hotel. They remodeled it last year and it looks so nice and neat. They did such a nice job decorating and the breakfast was soo good, we will be back next year.

“Great hotel for RTC”

This hotel has very clean rooms, clean lobby, clean elevators, and I was there during and after a snow storm. It is about 8 miles from RTC and does NOT provide a shuttle to the base for graduations. It does provide a free hot breakfast, egss, sausage, potatoes, waffles, oatmeal, etc. It also has fresh baked hot cookies in the evening. There is coffee (3 kinds) multiple teas and hot chocolate available 24 hours a day. Even though it was further from base it was very clean and the beds were some of the best I have ever slept on. Our king room had a sofa sleeper and still did not feel cramped. (I spent the next two nights in a very expensive hotel in downtown Chicago on the river and these beds were better.) They very willingly provided extra towels, a razor and shaving cream for my daughter to use after graduation while she was on a 5 hr leave before she shipped out, even though she wasn't staying there or on our reservation. If you are coming for a navy PIR please see the navy for moms website and check Sarge's taxi service. We were supposed to fly in to clear skies and were planning to walk between stations to catch the train to Gurnee...Thank gosh I booked the cab since it was snowing. We split the cab ride with another family and it cost us less than the train and L fares would have. That fare also included a free cab ride to graduation since we had booked ahead of time through him. Lots of food in walking distance of hotel.

“Best night's sleep”

The hotel although being in a busy area of town was quite quiet. I got a good night's sleep and they offered voutcher's for the gym next door as well as discounted rates at a nearby restaurant. The staff was really friendly.

“The breakfast brought us back!!!!!!”

We have stayed at this Hampton Inn about 10 times and have never been dissapointed. We usually travel from StLouis twice a year 1summer & 1fall trip for the SIX FLAGS in Gurnee. Out of all the hotels around that area to choose from and there are many.............this one stands out. The rooms and bedding are so clean and comfortable right down to the towels that feel brand new every time. The free breakfast is so broad in its variety that it never fails to satisfy all of my family (three teenagers) two adults. Love Love Love the beds. The desk clerk even hooked us up with her favorite pizza place that was just outstanding. If I had to sum up the staff including the maids and the guy cooking breakfast by hisself .............................. Total professionals!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!

“Not bad”

For doing a weekend getaway the hotel was perfect. It is a mile from Great America and there were a few places to eat that were walking distance. I will stay there everytime we go to G.A.

“I would return again”

This hotel was clean, staff was friendly. Do not try and check in early though. We tried to check in about 1:30 pm and we were told no we had to wait until 3 pm, I could not understand this because it is not like Gurnee, IL is a hotspot.

“Perfect for Great America!”

Everything was great! The hotel was clean and staff were extremely friendly, accomodating and helpful. Breakfast was good, too! It was also very convenient to Great America which is why we chose to stay there. We were travelling with our 4-month old twins and a 6 year-old, so our room was a bit tight, but that's not the fault of the hotel! Also, it was awesome to have hot water available in the lobby all the time for making baby bottles!!

“A Top Hampton”

The front desk clerk was extremely friendly and phoned to see if we needed anything about an hour after we checked in. Warm cookies before bedtime and more selection on the breakfast buffet sets this Hampton above most others.
