“Wyndham Review”

Very Noisy. There was a company party that disrupted out stay. My wife complained all night; they didn't care. "IT'S A HOLIDAY PARTY", she was told by management. Meanwhile, after a stressfull travel, my wife, kids and I were terribly stressed and not relaxed after this stay. Horrible Experiance. Highly do not recommend this facility if you need any rest for business or family. I would do anything to get a refund; but I know it would go no-where.

“pleasant stay”

Hotel staff was nice, curtious and friendly. Breakfast was good, house keeping quick and polite as well. In a quite neighborhood. Over very pleasant stay. Super comfy beds.

“Very quiet!”

It was a little out of the way but not too far. Glad I had a GPS with me to find it. It was very quiet, with a nice breakfast. Beds were very comfortable.

“Very Professional Hotel”

Will stay in this hotel if we get back to that area again. Front desk woman was very, very friendly. She helped us several times with directions and other things. The facility was very clean. Breakfast was very good and had a nice variety. The only thing I will say, is that the TV in the room we had, was older and everything had a "green" cast to it. With the way the suites are laid out, it would be difficult to put in a flat screen. But they really need to update the TV's. We will stay their again when we come back to the area.

“It was ok.”

The hotel was nice. Would be more probable to stay at if the location was better. The breakfast that was offered was not good at all. But for a bed to sleep to stay in the area, it served the purpose. Plus we got a good rate.

“Won't go back”

This was our honeymoon and there were so many things wrong I don't know where to start. Bathroom- I cut my foot on the threshold leading to the bathroombecause it was not properly attached to the floor. The water would shut off in the middle of the shower. The wallpaper was peeling off. The ceramic tile was poorly cut and placed in "hard to fit" areas. Bedroom- The television was not very up to date and didn't work properly. Main greeting area- The trim was loose. The plastic corner protectors were cracked and broken off in areas. Hotel maintenence- There were very, very poorly patched holes in the walls and covered with wall paper. There were huge, white stains all over the hallway carpets

Getting around

It was within a reasonable distance from many different places of entertainment and family things to do.

“Poorly Maintained”

I was disappointed in this hotel, which is poorly maintained. We purchased a suite so our baby could sleep in a separate room but the suite door did not close all of the way. The carpet in our room was torn. The hot tub was not working. The pool temperature was so cold we were unable to swim in it. There are better hotels in the area for the money, I won’t stay here again.

“Great Stay”

We stayed here before our trip to Great America. Very close to Great America. The breakfast was very good with hot and cold food. The room was big and the kids really enjoyed it. Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was small but it was okay since it was not crowded. Also, no restaurants were nearby. We just had food delivered.

“Nothing to write home about”

This hotel was okay. I had reserved two rooms and was happy that they were near each other, however, when my son went to his room he opened the door and found that someone was already staying in that room. It took about an hour before he was finally given a different room, and it was no longer near by. I like the idea of the breakfast buffet, but when I got there by 9:15 the eggs were already gone. Not very much seating space in the dining area. The pool area looked very nice, but we didn't have time to use it. The beds were quite comfortable and I got a good nights sleep.

Area recommendations

We were in Gurnee to go to Six Flags. I didn't mind a fifteen minute drive to get to the hotel but I didn't expect it to be in the middle of nowhere. I would probably recommend staying on Grand Ave. where there are lots of restaurants, ATM's and Walgreens.

“Great place and close enough to the big city”

The bed was great and so was the suite. We had a nice overnight stay.
