Located 10 miles from Chicago O'Hare International Airport, the 10-story Hilton Chicago Northbrook offers a restaurant and sports bar, a fitness center, an indoor pool, a spa tub, and a sauna. A fee-based business center and extensive meeting facilities are also available.

Allgauer's on the Riverfront - Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, this 320-seat American restaurant overlooks the Des Plaines River on one side and a serene pond in the romantic back room. An outdoor patio opens during warm weather. The menu highlights steaks and seafood, with a lavish Friday night seafood buffet. Sunday brunch buffet features more than 150 items, and the weekday lunch buffet includes salads, deli meats, hot entrees, soup, and desserts.
Frank's Place - This casual sports bar and grill offers lunch and dinner daily, and complimentary happy-hour appetizers on weekdays. The menu includes hamburgers, sandwiches, and quesadillas. Deep green leather booths and stained-glass panels complement the dark wood bar and tables. Occasional live entertainment is offered. Open from late morniing until after midnight.
Room Service - Available from early morning until late evening.
Recreation
The hotel offers a fitness center, indoor pool, spa tub, and sauna.
Adjacent to the hotel is the Des Plaines River, which offers hiking, fishing, and canoeing. The Glenview National 9 Golf Club, a par-31, nine-hole course, is four miles east of the hotel. Each hole accommodates a variety of levels. Traditions at Chevy Chase Golf Course, one mile north of the hotel, is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course with four levels. An aquatic park is about five miles from the hotel, and Wood Oaks Green Park, with tennis courts and playground, is 2.5 miles away.

“A nice hotel for the evening”
The hotel was just nice for me. It's pretty big and somewhat fancy. Would I stay again, yes. We were there just for the evening to swim in the pool and very hot-hot tub to rest before my sons hockey game that following morning. The hotel room was clean and all the workers were extremely nice.
“the place to stay for navy graduations. 20 mins from great lakes.”
upon arrival my room was not ready, i was immediatly upgraded without question. the desk was great, the whole hotel was wonderful and comfortable. it is perfect if you are attending navy graduation. there are no good hotels in great lakes however, this one is a straight shot up 294, it take 20 mins and $2 in tolls to get there, straight shot.
“Great Hotel, Horrible Location for Tourists”
We stayed at this hotel because it was the location for a wedding we attended. We knew it wasn't close to Chicago proper, but had no idea just how difficult and expensive it would be to try and go into the city. It is a $30 cab ride just to get to the nearest train station, and then a 30 minute sub ride from there. Had a great time at the hotel, but if you are planning on going into the city, rent a car or stay in a different location. Public transportation isn't going to get you very far in the suburbs.
“Excellent in every way”
We were treated extremely well, from the first moment. Granted, the hotel was fairly empty before and after Christmas, so there was plenty of staff for the few of us staying there. But the front desk clerk upgraded our room and treated us like royalty. Honestly, Expedia rooms sometimes get you placed in the less desirable rooms. This was a clear exception. Highly recommended!
“Great North Chicago Location”
This hotel is located in the beautiful northern suburbs. Great shopping and quaint town centers in many of the cities in and around Northbrook. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that the hotel is located on "Restaurant Row". Also, close to the Botanical Gardens--worth seeing! Hotel staff was very professional and friendly--even though it was a very busy weekend. Nice pool area and exercise facility. Highly recommend this hotel!
“Convenient North Shore location”
This hotel was covenient to our planned activity of the day --attending a football game in Evanston, IL.
“Good hotel, comfortable stay”
The Hilton Northbrook gave me an extremely clean hotel room, and room service and the food delivered were both excellent. I was surprised to not have alcohol in the room, but there were many children staying at the hotel at the time and I can understand the lack of alcohol in rooms. I will stay in this hotel again. The taxi service called to deliver me to the airport was very good and attentive, also.
“Time of my life!”
I was able to upgrade to a wonderful room with a view of the forest for miles... no buildings in the way. The room was large, very clean and had a very nice layout- vanity area outside the bathroom which was separated from the bedroom/seating area by a long wall. The room had a nice little bar area with a hidden refrigerator. The bathroom had a wonderful Jr. Jacuzzi tub and a very nice glass surrounded separate shower. Everything looked clean and new! Room service was great! Can't wait to go back in June!
