Our first stay (same suite type) was in 2019 as we hosted a small kid's bday party and things were fine. I can't speak to what has transpired at the property since then (well, COVID!). The room rate then was approx. $190.00(??) and approx. $378.00 for our 12/27/23 visit. The room rates are shared only for context, not as part of our dissatisfaction, per se'. Here was our experience:
The location is awesome, the grounds are maintained and the property, as a whole, is charming. Unfortunately, we rated our room experience as a "2" out of 5.
Room #401 is a 1BR 1 1/2 BA suite w/ a terrace overlooking the golf course. It's the closest room to the bank of elevators is not near the ice machine. There's a noise issue that will disturb any light sleeper (me!) and I overheard a mom shush her child to be quiet while in the common area. I *heard* her say SHUSH... You hear all noise emanating from the hallway. I'd forgotten about this from our previous stay.
The Room ~ to our dismay, the DR table was removed. ~ We wanted to have a light dinner (carry out yummies) but there wasn't a microwave so we couldn't reheat (one is on the 1st flr.). We were told they're a fire hazard.
The space wasn't as clean as anticipated either. I'm a Hilton Honors member and expect more from the brand. I've never experienced such poor conditions at a Hilton property. I typically don't complain, but I made a point to stay at a Hilton property after Christmas before traveling out of the country. DISSAPOINTED.
