“Great Rate for a Great Hotel”

Great experience at this hotel. Room was 5 star and staff was very pleasant. Would defiantly stay there again.

“would go back again!”

We stayed at the Hilton Suites over Labor Day weekend. The hotel overall was quiet. You didn't hear any noise in the evening. The room was very nice, well decorated, comfortable bed, nice bathroom & towels. We used the exercise room a couple times, up to date equipment. We didn't eat in the hotel, so we can not speak to their resturant.

Area recommendations

Oakbrook Terrace, nicer upscale area. Great shopping & resturants.

Getting there

A little tricky to learn the highways as the hotel is near a cloverleaf. Once you figure it out it goes better.

Must see

Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Science & Industry Museum, Botanical Garden, Morton's Arboretum, Grant Park, Buckingham Fountain.

Shopping

Great upscale as well as name brand rack stores to shop. Many nice resturants in a close area.

Dining

Kona Grill, McCormick & Schmicks, Redstone, Ditka's................ You haven't been to Chicago if you haven't tried Gino's East Side Pizza or Garrett's Popcorn!

“We are pleased with the hotel staff”

We were in the Chicago area for a family memorial service and luncheon at the Hilton Suites and were very pleased with the hotel's service. The staff was friendly and understanding, sometimes going out of their way to help us. The food was excellent. The atrium is a bit noisy after hours, with some people partying late into the evening. Because of the openness of the interior, there were times when we were awakened by sounds from the bar, which is open to the atrium. Our time there was wonderful and we were pleased with just about everything the hotel had to offer.

“Nice, but they could replenish things a bit faster”

The hotel overall was quite nice, and accomodating. But the only problem I came across is that they woudn't replenish things without you asking. Like the creamers for the coffee, if i didn't ask, they would not replenish. You get one pen, and pen alone....so don't loose it. But the hotel was clean and comfortable. I think they could have informed me about the shuttle to Oak Brook upon checkin, but they didn't so I didn't realize it until the last day. Oak Brook..nice!

“Room was great!”

“A good choice”

Overall I was very satisfied with the Hilton Suites. The rooms were nice. They offered a great breakfast and the bar was cozy. The location was difficult to get to at first, we could see it but couldn't quite get there...but after we figured out the route into and out of the hotel it was a breeze getting around. We enjoyed our weekend and the hotel!

“Overnight with dinner and a show”

We have stayed here before and enjoy the proximity to the Drury Lane theater. The hotel is very nice and it's just a walk across the parking lot to dinner and a show. Perfect for a quick getaway. Just wish they had some kind of free breakfast!

“Got woken up at 4:30 AM”

Didn't get the king bed I booked because they "sold out" of rooms with king beds despite reserving that in advance. Also got woken up at 4:30 AM by a garbage truck in the hotel parking lot which was repeatedly slamming the dumpster while attempting to empty it. This caused the entire room to shake for 10 minutes on the second floor. The front desk did not seem very concerned when I voiced my complaint.

“Nice hotel near Oakbrook mall!”

We had a great stay at this Hilton. It was clean, the staff was friendly and it was located near great restaurants and shopping.
