Great place for an extended stay in EvanstonPosted Nov 8, 2013
Pros: Room amenities and location. Free wireless was fabulous.
Cons: Need to enlarge the gym facility. The lack of volume and presence of competition made the tiny bar not worth the effort.
Location: Location is quiet but dead at night however, it is just a block or two from lots of stores, pharmacies, Whole Foods, eateries and LA Fitness.
It was great for the 2 week stay in Evanston as the room had a microwave, refrigerator and coffee making allowing for in-room meal prep. Room was spacious enough to be comfortable for one or two people. Exercise room was too small, always too crowded but the Lake is just a few blocks away for a beautiful walk. Just blocks from the Northwestern campus. The breakfast buffet was reasonable but the Chili's across the street provided a more interesting evening menu and bar scene.

great location- all the ammenitiesPosted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: location and ammenities
Cons: I arranged for a wake up call and they did not call us. Luckily we set our phone as a backup.
Location: Great restaurants and shops all within walking distance. Farmers Market on Saturdays behind the hotel is a must!
Great location- close to Northwestern Campus and downtown restaurants. Also, lucked into the Farmers Markets on Saturdays right behind the hotel- really great!

great hotelPosted Oct 8, 2013
Pros: great beds
Cons: timing the maid service
Location: very close to northwestern.. walk to many stores and restaurants...the metra is just 1.5 blocks away
hotel was great...The staff of great. They let me check in early. The bed was very comfortable. Only negative was that the maids come by around 9 am (which normally isn't early for me, but I was on vacation)

This hotel is average.Posted Oct 3, 2013
Pros: Quiet and acceptable. (except for the construction going on outside which began at 7:15 a.m.).
Cons: It needs updating.
Location: Great restaurants and a super venue to hear live music called "Space". It is located on Chicago Ave approx. 1 mile from the hotel.
The room was nothing to get excited about, but for the price it was just o.k. If you plan to go out on the town then this is the place. There are plenty of things to do in Evanston Il. On the plus side the room was quiet and clean. We didn't spend much time at the hotel so it worked for us. The hotel is actually kind of worn out and needs updating, but if they remodeled.....then you know what I am going to say...they would raise the price for a room.

Desk clerk Rachel was very rude.. I asked to stay an additional night and she told me I had to make a reservation online until I asked why I couldn't do it with her, then I received a call the next from the same clerk asking why I didn't check out and why things were still in my room. I made the reservation with her for an additional night, yet again she was rude when she called me the original day of my checkout to see why I didn't check out. She was very rude and was not very accommodating when I wasn't from around the area. I have stayed at the Hilton in New York and they were very nice and paid for our room since they had to move us. The Hilton in Evanston only provided me with a complimentary breakfast when they made me move my room because they said there was a plumbing issue in my room when we didn't have a problem when we were in there. This is the same company and I don't appreciate being treated differently and would like an accommodation for the inconvenience.

Great locationPosted Aug 31, 2013
Large, comfy rooms. Beds were great! Hotel has everything you need from small business center, gym, food... In a convenient location for public transportation and walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. Added bonus was an amazing Saturday morning farmers market in the lot directly behind!

Nice Place to StayPosted Aug 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
I had a seminar to attend in the Loop and prefer to stay in Evanston (to save on the cost of the hotel and parking) then take the "L" into my destination. The Hilton is convenient (2 blocks for the Davis street stop), clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. I bought a beer at the bar in the lobby and the prices are remarkably high. I don't like hotels that gouge on the small stuff.

Convenient,clean and affordablePosted Aug 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room and staff were great. Staff handled any question I had with efficiency. Parking garage was easy to access and with a flat rate for in and out use. The cost was not bad for Chicago.
