Pros: We enjoy the shuttle bus to hotel and the comfort of the bed
Cons: Bar hours should be longer on weekends
Overall I like this hotel. This was the second time we stayed here. The only thing I did not like was how early the bar closes on a Saturday night.

The only problem I had was when I arrived at the airport the shuttle didn't come for 40 minutes and I was outside, cold at past midnight. I worried that my stay would be bad but the staff is amazing-- warm and welcoming and the room was comfy. No more problems with the shuttle after that.

Good value for the price.

Location: Casino, dining, walk along the river.
We stayed three nights at the Hilton Garden Inn for a weekend visit to Chicago. It is located within a commercial district just west of the Des Plaines river. It is walking distance from a range of restaurants just south on East Devon Avenue, but contrary to what the name would suggest, is a fair distance from the airport. Fortunately the hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport, which also connects guests with the Blue Line for commuter service to the downtown core. The hotel is clean, comfortable and well-maintained; staff are friendly and knowledgeable; there is a swimming pool and a small gym, both on the main floor. The main disadvantage is the considerable distance from the Chicago core and the sights therein: transit takes at least an hour and a half, and the drive along the Kennedy Expressway can also take a while if there is traffic (and there often is). Location aside, I found the value for price acceptable, and under the same circumstances I would stay there again.

Pros: Hospitality
Cons: Bed was comfortable, but dated.
Location: Great area
Warm welcome from the staff. Room was very comfortable. Access to the Rosemount area was wonderful, with plenty of activities to take advantage of.
